I enjoyed that - but it's in danger of getting dull - we need to see some spark between the leads, because right now I don't see much basis for a relationship.
That was awful. What happened to this series? That entire episode was the same scene over and over. The drama wasn't believable the first time, but by the fourth it's plain they should not be together. If you have the same problem four times in a 24-hour period you're just not compatible.
Also, hugs are great, and they can be big moments and moving - but this was just hug porn. It started to get funny, because it was always the same shot and the same ballad blaring, but then it just got irritating.
I really liked this the first few episodes, but it's gone nowhere, and I feel bad for the actors, who are all doing a great job, especially Force, who inhabits that character. But it's like this is written by a 12-year old, but a 12-year old who is bad at writing.
Why would Cher be exhausted? Gun is calm, patient, does whatever Cher says, and never creates any drama. That whole scene made no sense and took Cher right out of his character.
I KNEW he was going to take the blame - you can set something up, but to telegraph it that obviosulst is bad writing. "What kind of person don't you like?" "People who do things behind my back". Uh hunh. Imagine that.
Jeng was out of line when he told Pat to cool it with Nan, He should have had that discussion with her, not him…
I'm 55 and have worked in a corporate environment for 35 years, so yes, I have some corporate knowledge, and I worked for a while at Samsung, so I also have specific Korean corporate experience. If I said that to an employee and he complained to HR, I would be reprimanded.
I'm glad you noticed it too - it was fantastic. Finally a touch of Thai in a soundtrak.
I'm surprised there's not more Thai period drama - the clothing is so stunning I would think people would like it. the music wouldn't be to everyone's taste, but it was really cool when Ohm played that xylophone thing - I think it's called a ranat.

He was their manager before... And he saw himself that Nan was showing too much attention to Pat. He should have talked to her. Putting responsibility for it on Pat is just the same as if someone is hitting on a girl and the manager tells her to wear more modest clothing.
I'll just join the chorus of people that are only here to stare at Cooper. In My Engineer I didn't think he was All That, but a couple of years has made a big difference and now he's hottttt. I don't remember him having a body like that, and even the way he walks is sexy.
This episode had a huge amount of cringe in it - like all the dancing.
Jeng was wrong to tell Pat to keep distance from Nan - Pat is junior and doesn't really have a choice. That's…
I agree - it is quite realistic. Pat is inexperienced and immature, and he's not good at empathy. He was upset at the criticism because he worked really hard on his presentation and did his best - but he doesn't seem to realize that's likely true of the things he's critiquing.
Jeng was out of line when he told Pat to cool it with Nan, He should have had that discussion with her, not him…
I'm not disagreeing with your analysis of what people would think and the effect that might have - I'm saying it was inappropriate for Jeng to have that discussion with Pat rather than Nan. Pat isn't in a position to distance himself as he's so far below Nan, and Nan is the one who was showing favoritism which could damage Pat. She's in the wrong, not Pat.
It's a little like telling a girl to dress more conservatively so people don't harass her.
they've already established that pat lived in LA (a very progressive city) and how he and his friend group are…
Not only that, but there is an absolutist zero tolerance for harassment that often strays into ridiculousness - if anyone pulled what that guy did in a company in California, he'd be fired immediately, period. He wouldn't even get to argue his side of the story, he'd just be escorted out of the building.
The " straight white man" comment by pat part rubbed me the wrong way for real because I thought that was an extremely…
Thailand was never colonized. Also, let's not pretend there isn't any toxic masculinity in other cultures - especially in Asia. Feminism and the concept of equality of the sexes is a Western development.
This is one of the most realistic depictions I've seen of issues in the workplace. The boss is completely right…
Jeng was wrong to tell Pat to keep distance from Nan - Pat is junior and doesn't really have a choice. That's a conversation he should have had with Nan, not Pat, and the way he handled it was terrible and demoralizing. But bosses are terrible and demoralizing, so it doesn't bother me. Other than that, he's been a good boss so far, although a little too cold and distant, but if that's his personality, that's his personality.
