Yes, it does encourage grooming. But that's hard to prevent even with strict age of consent laws, and you can't protect minors against family members who are the most likely abusers.
But even in Japan you'd have to be nuts to sleep with a minor - because your parents are still your guardians and have more or less final say about what's coercive.
There are times when I wish a virus could be released that would kill off all the sociopaths. Then you wouldn't have to worry about your children and wouldn't even need to lock your door. Also, traffic would be lighter without people rushing to cut in at the last minute when a lane is ending.
They turned a grab for a handcuff key into an accidental kiss. It's a slight variation on a theme, but I still…
Wow, you're putting me to shame in bitchiness here (I mean it as a compliment). You're right though, that was a minor miracle with the boxers, although I suppose you could argue that it doesn't count because Mangkorn deliberately pulled Ashing down on him.
That was kind of disappointing. It wasn't bad or anything, but I'm starting to become exhausted with BLs having their runtimes chewed up by girlfriends, ex-girfriends, and wannabee girlfriends. It's as if half the BL industry has somehow missed the "B" or the desires of the audience.
I did really like that Minato expicitly identifies as gay - that's still a bit rare.
Persons commenting Minato hung up on the age gap is silly, Shin is still a minor in my country that's jail time,…
It's not jail ime in Japan, though - the age of consent is 13, and the Japanese supreme court has ruled that relations between adolescents and adults are OK as long as there isn't coersion or abuse of authority and within the context of a relationship. Even if you're found guilty, it's a fine and a suspended sentence. The point is that Minato's concern is the age gap, as he's said, not legal issues. If that were the case he would just say "let's wait a couple of months until your 18" - and in any case there are no laws against dating, just sex.
"Although that Itt-Day kiss most gregious fake kiss I've ever seen and I've watched a lot of BL."It was painful..."Check…
I think BL actors have to take a course entitled "The infantilization of the Uke". Chapter 1 is nouth wiping, Ch 2 is buckling his seatbelt for him, Ch. 3 is giving him a piggy back ride whenever anything - like ANYTHING - is wrong with him. Ch 4 is curing him of cancer with a damp towel wipedown, and Ch 5 is blowdrying his hair so he doesn't get sick and die. Ch 6 is for the uke - dabbing your seme's slightly red lip with a disgusing yellow Q-tip.
BounPrem was really outshined in their own series by the secondary couple.. awkward...
A secondary couple with a total screentime of about 2 minutes. But I found myself pushing th +10 seconds button repeatedly to get to the boxers. Although I also thought Talay was cute.
So let me understand this. Arthid met Sun once, for 15 seconds, and has been carrying a torch since then. A torch for a 6-year old child. Not at all creepy.
I didn't think it was possible for a series to be more disastrous than Check Out and Unforgotten Night, but at least those have coherent plots.
There was some serious eye candy in this, but that's also the case for Check Out and Unforgotten Night.
On the other hand, this was only half as long, so I suppose it wins.
is it safe to say that kinnporsche and traige (the two current thai bls) really ruined it for the rest?all the…
KinnPorsche and Triage look like The Godfather compared to disasters like this, but I wouldn't put either of them in the top tier, especially KinnPorsche which was very enjoyable but not really all that good. Anyway, along with Unforgotten Night and Check Out, we're in a valley. Hopefully there's a peak coming up.
I'm hate-watching this, so I might as well hate-post about it.
So... who was the guy with the big muscles packing for the trip, and who let him wear a shirt? I guess we at least got the beach scene. And why can't Kim be with him instead of Kamol? Although that Itt-Day kiss was the most egregious fake kiss I've ever seen and I've watched a lot of BL.
Check out 8:40 - why was the underside of the bathtub blurred out? Was there a giant penis hanging from it or something?
Why is Kim acting like a petulant child? He was like, right there when they were shot at - how is it so beyond his understanding that Kamol wants him safe, or more, if Kim is around loved ones when they come for him, he'd be putting innocent people in danger? And is it not occurring to him that with his attitude he's completely ruining the vacation of a happy couple?
Why did they translate the distinctly English epithet "ding dong" into English? By "sea view", did Itt mean "tree"? How did Kim take a shower and get dressed in the 30 seconds between Kamol's two phone calls? Impressive.
How does one get sick by talking instead of showering in 31 degree weather?
And will someone explain to me why nobody in a BL will ever allow anyone to wipe their own mouth?
"Where are we going tomorrow at this beach resort?"

That was really boring.
