Why does everyone always complain about the length? These are films divided into parts. 8 x 12 = 96, which is the average length of a movie. If you view it like that and stop expecting a 9-hour series, you'll enjoy it more. I thought this was well-done and intriguing. There isn't funding for more than this, and until we demonstrate demand by watching and appreciating these, there never will be.
Hopefully that's the end of the tiresome Jean storyline. Now all we need to get past is the tiresome child murder storyline. I just want Krathing to end up happy. Punn too.
It was predictable, but a sweet story. It probably needed to be a little simpler given the short run time - and Ton probably needed to be a little less aggressive with his flirting, because it makes the rest of the story seem a bit implausible. But it made me feel good, so I liked it.
That was kind of meh. I think the problem with this series is that the source story isn't very good. Weir had a crush on a straight guy - that's not a "first love". And to develop an allergy to ALL women because of it is homophobic by today's standard (this was written more than 20 years ago). That doesn't bother me so much because it's an old story, but it does bring up the question why adapt and old and not terribly great story for the third time when there's so much better material available?
One thing I'll say thought - I LOVED LOVED the casting decision for Weir's "first love". Seriously, can you blame his mother? I can't.
considering how some people love to critize him, I wouldn't want to see them flocking over there to hate on him…
Hey, that's out of line. If someone doesn't like his performance, then expressing that isn't an "agenda". Sometimes I find the opposite is the case - people who are fans of something are totally unable to bear the slightest criticism of it. FOr example, I think Singto is good in Paint With Love, but I think he's miscast in this role. I said I liked Not Me a lot, but I thought there was some clumsy exposition in it and people lost their minds. "I really like something but I have a few minor critiques" is the same thing to some people as saying "I hope everyone involved with this show gets cancer!"
When I don't like something, sometimes it's because I misunderstood it, so explaining how I felt often leads to someone changing my mind or at least putting it in a better context. TianQi has changed my mind several times, for example.
Now that a hotttt actor is playing Pha I do care a little bit, but a piano could fall on Wayu and it wouldn't…
I think they're the best couple in this hot mess of a series, but they're a bit one-note if you compare them to the Great Couples, like Nanon-Ohm. Mark tries to annoy Kit, Kit gets annoyed, rinse and repeat. They are cute and I like that the uke is older and in some ways stronger - nothing irritates me more than a useless uke (e.g. Wayu).
Now that a hotttt actor is playing Pha I do care a little bit, but a piano could fall on Wayu and it wouldn't…
I think they tricked everyone by marketing it that way because they knew nobody would watch a show that's just about Wayu. I have a feeling Mark & Kit are not going to be major characters in this.
More proof that an uke can't even stand completely still without tripping. And knocking into another uke, who of course must be caught by a seme, even if it's the wrong one.
Lol, I call Thanu/Dun an ugly cute guy. He looks cute in some angles and doesn't in others. Yes, Pha is so handsome.…
So this story is poorly-written fanfic about a poorly-made series based on a poorly-written novel. Sounds like a winning combo. I think you're right about Pha's destiny. Poor Big's job seems to be to come in second all the time.
I think it's time to retire the whole 2moons franchise. This really felt like something out of 2017 - BLs can't be this formulaic anymore - not after what we've had over the last 2 years, and the amateur actor model has been thoroughly discredited by ITSAY and Bad Buddy. This doens't have a good story or good acting, so what's the point? And what happened to Thanu? He looks different, but not in a good way. Everyone has weird hair. And after My Mate Match, I can't help but cheer for Pha in this - Big is so cute.
I agree with a lot of previous comments but will add I think marketing also had a role. Gen Y was marketed as…
OK, that makes a lot of sense.
For me, I watched 2moons2 and found Pha about as interesting as a damp cardboard box, and Wayu only marginally more interesting, mostly because Earth is really cute. So for me, "Mark" and Kit are different actors and so Thanu is no more familiar or alien than anyone else, and certainly more interesting than this Wayu's absent BF, who we only saw as a pair of shoes until the last scene of the last episode. I did notice that everything surrounding Thanu felt a little like I accidentally hit a link somewhere and got sent to a different and stranger story, though, so I understand what you're saying.
I personally don't have that mush issue with Thanu/Wayu as I do with Thanu/Phai, but for me the biggest issue…
But the situation with Pha & Wayu was much different because they were both underage and similar in age - that's fine, otherwise you wouldn't be able to date in high school. Thana must be 5+ years older than Phai, which is an adult with a minor, which is illegal and wrong.
Is Wayu a regular guy? He's super-duper rich, with servants bowing to him and calling him master - if you remember, that was Pha's first (negative) impression of him when he arrived at college. Maybe that's why he's so useless - he's always had everyone do everything for him.
I'm not sure why Thana was giving Phai false hope - Phai didn't want to be with him, and he wasn't giving Wayu false hope because they got together - which he did as soon as it was clear Pha wasn't getting back together with Wayu.
I'm not trying to argue with you - I'm totally open to the idea that I'm totally wrong, but it's helpful to hear your perspective, because I'm not sure I really understood what was going on in the first season - but then it seems pretty clear that the writers didn't either. :)

TBH, I don't really get the appeal of MarkKit. I don't dislike them or anything, but I don't get what makes them that special to everyone.
