Title Don't Say No
Barging into a public place and screaming at your boyfriend for cheating on you because he's talking to another…
They didn't calmly discuss it - Fiat just said he wasn't jealous and failed to apologize for his appalling and untrusting behavior.

Jealousy is a real thing, but it needs to be motivated by something real, otherwise you just have no trust in your partner, and I don't think you can really love someone you don't trust. Leo was literally helping orphans when Fiat barged in and yelled at him publicly. Sorry, but that's not excusable - at least not without a sincere and serious apology.

I didn't ask for your advice on what to watch, but if I need any I'll be sure to contact you.

I love sex scenes but that one made be cringe. I just wanted it to be over. Leo should dump Firat and find someone who won't accuse him of cheating when he's trying to help orphans.

Tired? But they were able to fall back on the subject of doing household chores. How could you ever get tired of that? And we got more unmotivated and petty jealousy and a totally passionless love scene as a bonus.

Finally done with episode 5. I wish i could send a voicenote because I'm so furious at everything...
Were you upset that Fiat accused Leo of cheating on him for no reason while he was helping orphans and never apologized or suffered any consequences for his pyschotic and untrusting behavior? Or was it the unnecessary and strangely cold and stiff sex scene? Or is it the endless supply of cartoonishly evil people Fiat apparently slept with? Maybe the total lack of plot or any perceivable reason for this series to exist? Am I getting warm?

Title Don't Say No
I really dislike Pob character, he have some issues, he never smile maybe it is the main reason, in real life…
I didn't think Phob's apartment looked rich - it was a studio with just a bed in the same space as the kitchen. But I'm American and we tend to have unnecessarily large living spaces. On the other hand, Leo & Fiat are living in a gigantic palace and we're supposed to believe they're cleaning it themselves? Come on. As if Leo's mother would ever allow that.

Pob smiled at the end of this episode - I think he's a little afraid of Leon and what all this means.

The sex scene was terrible. It was stiff, and as you mentioned the lighting was harsh. There is always a large space between their bodies, which is strange, and there was no real purpose to the scene - it would have been better to have Fiat competently seduce him and then have the rest off-camera. There's no real purpose to any scene, because there is zero plot.

For this episode, I feel like it was more for Leon and Pob so I am ok with that but I do feel like Fiat owe Leo…
He publicly accused Leo of cheating on him while Leo was helping orphans. I'm not sure there's any apology that can make up for that. That's not "cute" jealously, that's a dangerous lack of trust and Leo should not just humor him.

Title Don't Say No
I really liked that Leon read Phob's subtle cues and didn't try to kiss him - that shows his sensitivity to other people and his gentlemanly nature, and it seemed to really have a strong positive effect on Phob.

So it feels like they got a good writer for Leon & Phob and a terrible writer for Leo and Fiat. So I'm going to assume Mame did Leo and Fiat and her talented assistant handled Leon & Phob.

There is no plot. It's just Fiat being sulky and jealous all the time over stupid things and Leo humoring him, which he should stop doing. The main story this ep was about doing household chores. Is that interesting in any way?

There was a secondary jealously (again) plotline wherein Fiat loudly accused Leo in public of cheating on him while Leo was HELPING ORPHANS. And Fiat never apologized. Fiat's "I'm shy as a 12-year old Victorian maiden" routine is really old. And it's also not Fiat - what happened to him? When did he go from feisty and bad to this tiresome boring person? And when he was a big ho, did he only sleep around with cartoonishly evil people for some reason?

I usually want love scenes, but I just wanted that one to be over. I would trade all of them for something milder that looked genuinely intimate. Leo and Fiat always have at least a foot of void space between their bodies - it's weird and lacks any passion or chemistry. One thing 7 Project did really well was when there was a kiss, their bodies were pressed together and it looked real. I don't understand what's happened - Leo & Fiat used to have chemistry - where did it go? This feels like a money grab and nobody bothered to come up with a story to tell or develop any idea of what they would do all day.

And would someone just make the sound effects STOP? There were scenes where I had to turn off the volume and just read to give my brain a break. Anyway, I like Leon & Phob a lot, but 2x isn't fast enough to get through the rest.

Barging into a public place and screaming at your boyfriend for cheating on you because he's talking to another person isn't "talking it out", it's acting like a psycho baby. In reality, they were talking about helping orphans, and even when that is revealed, Fiat never apologized for his absolutely unacceptable behavior, and that Leo has no issue with it makes him codependent in this unhealthy relationship.

There's no plot to this story - it's just about people being constantly irrationally jealous, which means they don't trust their partner, which means they shouldn't be together.

At least Leo and Phob are cute, when they aren't drowned out by the endless sound effects.

Have you watched episode 6 yet? There is a very nice scene where Valen and Kaitoon are lying on the beach as the…
I haven't seen 6 yet - I've been watching it on GagaOOhLala and I think 5&6 are out in a couple of days.

I remember him in FF - I guess his lot in life is to remind us that assholes always win. Valen isn't really an asshole, he's just spoiled and cluelss. I still think Kaitoon is nuts to pick him over Nont, but that's love. I think K is attracted to him because V's really kind of sweet under all that, and some guys have a bit of White Knight syndrome and need to be needed.
On Love Area Part 1 Sep 3, 2021
I'm not sure what they're doing here. How is it possible for anyone to prefer Valen for Khaitoon over Non? It's no contest - they have better chemistry and Non is better than Valen in every way.

I have no interest in the secondary couple - I'm over plotlines that depend on someone standing there for 15 minutes saying nothing - just explain why you left? Why would he not do that? Or at least say "There's a reason, but I can't tell you." That's why I lost interest in Lovely Writer - everything could be solved with one simple sentence, but Nubsib would stand there for several days and not answer a simple question.

Anyway, Pak is really charming - I was totally OK with him taking over the ML role in Cupid Coach - they should have cast him from the start.

Gun is doing a good job as Valen, but he's just so obviously not BF material right now, whereas Non is a doctor, which Khaitoon needs because he's an uke, meaning he gets injured whenever he's in the same room with a sharp object. And a serious fever if water touches him that can only be cured by being patted with a damp towel.

Title 7 Project
Someday, someone will let Earth play something other than a whiny high-school kid - I'd like to say I think he's a fantastic actor, but he's only allowed to do one thing, so I'm not sure. But he's definitely mastered the whiney crybaby character. I want to see him play a bitchy "don't mess with me" queen. You know he can pull it off. Or the leader of a motorcycle gang.

I was surprised that Ozone was supposed to be a senior - he had a meltdown because he was locked in a closet for a while and then when someone poured a cup of water on him in the shower? I guess to be fair, water in Thailand is extremely dangerous and gives you a fever unless a seme dries your hair immediately.

Anyway, the quality was good, but the story didn't have anything to tell us. I was a bit surprised by the kiss, which was good, and that was one of the first times I've seen someone who actually knows how to act inebriated. And Santa made me have thoughts that I don't feel right about. Well, I suppose he's legal in Thailand, at least. He has what I like to call "it" and you can tell he'll be dangerous when he's 25. The chemistry was there, but I didn't feel it to the extent everyone else did - maybe because it didn't really get a chance to develop. I like that Santa isn't afraid of intimacy - he didn't have that stiff as a board "don't make me do this" pose that a lot of BL actors have when they have to kiss or be intimate. He was full-body pressed against Earth - it felt a lot more real than most I've seen.

But frankly, I was bored and 2x a lot of it. But I'll definitely be keeping an eye on Santa - I hope we see him again.

I think the director is passive-aggressively dissing the sponsor - there is product placement for WeTV, but it's always at urinals or horrific crime scenes.

Wow, what a beautiful film - the acting and cinematography in this are spectacular. Both of them are so restrained and subtle yet you feel it all.

People always downrate shorts for some reason - I don't understand it. If you're expecting a story like you get an an 8-hour series, why watch a short?

I honestly think the scene was just fine considering the level they are at as boyfriends.
To be fair, Fiat did say he wanted it rough, so in case there were to be any fisting, Leo wouldn't want to lose his watch up there. On the other hand, Fiat has made it clear he expects to receive presents directly from Leo, and you can't get much more direct than that. And it was a pretty nice watch.

But he just said "I can't hold back anymore", and then he slowly took off his shirt and laboriously removed his wrist watch. Why did they give him that line? I just don't feel any heat between these two - I don't know what happened because it used to be there.

Wow you expressed pretty much everything I wanted to say concerning this drama. This felt like the most Shojo-ish…
OMG, that is the most perfect decriptor - yes, Uncanny Valley is exactly what it is. I've been calling him Robot Boy, but that's much better. That unnatural haircut didn't do him any favors. The actor himself is quite cute and charming in any other setting.

And everyone says I overthing things. :) But you're 100% right - there's no way he would do that when they were…
I'm conflicted. It seems 100% necessary for Aue to ask Aek if he knows how to handle knives, but as this is a BL, Aek should already have cut himself just being in the same room as a sharp object, so it's already clear he has knife superpowers because that hasn't happened. But I agree with you - they should have set this up better - it would even have helped if that pastry chef had made a sarcastic comment like "Oh, I'm SURE you're only interested in his sense of smell."

Title Bite Me
This is a 10/10 for me, and I doubt we've seen anything yet. I was in tears all the way through this. Just looking at Aue made me want to cry.

If the pacing is like this for the entire series it might wear thin, but it was perfectly fine for me as a first ep - I think it did a great job of setting the scene.

One thing - and this is most likely the producer's fault - that is a really puerile title, and unworthy of the quality of this series. They should have just gone with the Thai title, which is much better.
