It should be illegal for two leads to have so much chemistry just for them to continously do absolutely nothing…
More happened in Love Sick 2. More happened in Amore. But Bbomb isn't any better a partner than Jin - they're both ridiculously jealous and uncommunicative. And boring beyond belief.
Ok after watching the ep I just want to say this series is getting boring like wth it's the same thing over and…
Is Keam interesting, though? Or do we just think so because BALL IS SO FU@#ING CUTE I CAN'T STAND IT? All Keam does is sulk and get drunk every day. Ball should find someone who's less of a disaster. And Song & Jay better get it going, because absolutely zero has happened between them - and they don't even have any chemistry, which is weird.
I feel like the writers would probably keel over if every single one of the characters didn’t have some mysterious…
I might be happy if the internal conflicts actually were mysterious, instead of merely being people preferring to sulk than actually talk about things. The same things. Over and over, and over.
Were you thinking "PUT THAT SHIRT DOWN." when Wen started putting it back on? I was. It was the only interesting thing that happened this ep. Well, the boys did all look good in uniform, I guess.
9 was weirdly cut with a dismissive lover who then cries like he's the victim and yet another evil female mastermind…
To be fair, she's not an evil mastermind, she's trying to get Jin & Bbomb together. But even so, why is everyone spiking Bbomb's drinks and being sneaky? Just talk to them. If you have to trick people into being together, maybe they shouldn't be together. Friends can give you a push in the right direction, but Jeez.
When the scenes from this ep showed Jin crying, I assumed Bbomb had dumped him, not simply asked him why he keeps flirting with Mark. (Although the reason for that should be obvious. Would you pick Boss, or a sad mannequin that can somehow talk?)
Is it only me who feel like nothing is happening in this show? Like every episode is same, they r doing same things…
I forgot that I stopped watching this and watched it. And then I remembered I wasn't watching, but thought I'd accidentally hit Ep 5 because this was exactly like it. And Ep 6, and Ep 7, and 8. Nothing had happened. Nothing at all. To be fair, I didn't really watch the entire ep because I was so bored I kept falling asleep. I usually have a hard time falling asleep, but this show induces narcolepsy.
Well, that was worse than I was expecting. I was excited to see Net in something other than Hidden Love, and at least we got to see a LOT of him for two minutes.
If the story is going to be a dull rehash of every trope you can possibly think of with low production values and substandard acting, you should at the very least have attractive guys in it, not some 40-year old with perpetually bloodshot eyes and some sort of perspiration disorder. Altohugh to be fair, it's a bit unrealistic that nobody ever sweats in BLs even though it's 45 degrees with 1,000 percent humidity every day.
After watching the first episode, I have to say I’m concerned about how high the rating is so far. I’ll try…
I think old tropes are definitely a bad thing. Especially when you have ALL of them. Why do the girls always go insane over the least attractive man in the cast? Although to be fair, he's a musician, and that's the traditional way ugly guys get chicks.
A rough start. There's a camera with a smudge of dirt on the lens and one of the actors can't stop sweating, even…
I couldn't get through it. Awful. BTW, Yes, the acting here is worse than Golden Blood, but GB is the highest-high-end BL with a huge budget. They should never have cast such a weak actor in the main role. But they also cast Boat, so I'll forgive them. But it still drops what could have been a first-rate series into "meh" territory.
I feel guilty for watching this pirated, but I for some reason I'm not having any VPN luck. Has anyone else had trouble connecting? I'm going to try Singapore instead of the usual Thailand.
The scene where Tin & Louis were running made me laugh more than anything has in years. Edan and Kenny Wong are comedic geniuses - Anson Lo doesn't have quite the same punchy timing, but I like that the gay character is tough and together for once.
I guess my question is, if you want to use these actors (and I can certainly see why anyone would want to for sure), then why make it a high school story? Since the actors are older and have more life experience, why not try a setting more appropriate to their ages and less imitative of 1,000 previous BLs?
If there's any appeal to high school stories, it's the naive innocence of the characters, which is related to youth. This is a particularly attractive cast, and with musical ability - why not have a story about a band? Or a music production company? Or anything at all that isn't the same setting we've already seen so many times?
Check every cast profile if you would like to know more because this is the second project of an artist agency,…
There is no evidence that this is related to market desires - it's simply imitiation and artistic laziness. It's not like Hollywood and other major media machines aren't imitative, but nobody is quite as dismal in it's lack of creativity as Thai BL. It's easier to follow a formula and adapt bad novels than write original screenplays, even though when this happens audience response is very strong, like with ITSAY.
Making the same story over and over will eventually burn out the genre as people move on to something newer. Innovate or Die is the expression.
OK, so I think I found the secret for me to enjoy this series - I skip everything that's not about Simai, Phob, and Eak, et voilà! The copy customer makes me want to punch him in the face, the basketball storyline is totally irrelevant to the story, and Both & Newyear are terrible actors. Phob is getting on my nerves with his surliness, but I like the main three + Lukmo.
