i understand what tarn was trying to do with the purple hibiscus symbolism or whatever to see if he's still paying…
If he were into her, he would absolutely have noticed her bra and that it was covered with lavender hibiscus. Even if he wasn't into her, if he was straight, he would still have totally noticed her bra.
Yeah same I'm so confused what even happened at the end did he regret giving him or what
The short answer is that he gave everything to Oh and has nothing left, and it was all a waste because Oh didn't want it and tossed it away - and he must know that he couldn't give Oh the one thing that he wanted, which was his love.
I am still analyzing if he's regretting giving it to Oh Aew because Oh Aew didn't accept the position
No offense intended, but that is absolutely not it. He gave everything and has nothing left, and it was all a waste, because Oh is tossing it aside. All Oh wants is his love, and that's the only thing he can't give him.
The amount of commercials and where they're placed is beyond irritating. For me, it was Axe body spray over and over again right in the middle of every crucial scene, although to be fair, in this series every scene is crucial.
did he come out?? i thought he was just talking to her about the entrance exam
No. I meant that it would be nearly impossible for him to come out with that much expectation piled on him, and I'm not sure I would have if I were in his shoes. At least he has his brother.
If only I could give this series more than five stars and more than a score of 10.0, I surely would have. This…
Fortunately the episodes are double-length so it's really more like 10 eps. I agree with everything you said.
One thing this series has that no other Thai BL has had is an LGBTQ+ sensibility - this has been so badly lacking up to this point. This, like the better Filipino BLs are raising the genre to a new level - hiring brilliant script writers who understand a visual medium and take full advantage of it, hiring skilled and talented actors, attention to detail, passion, and technical perfection.
Billkin and PP are not gorgeous with the usual chisled athetic bodies - and does anyone miss that? I sure don't. Because these are real, fully-realized, 3D characters. Teh is more attractive to me than just about any other BL character I can think of.
I hope the industry takes inspiration from this so we don't have to slog through 1,001 variations on SOTUS anymore.
I got bored just watching the credits. Then I got interested because of the shower scene. Then I got bored again with this formulaic dreck. The writing is terrible - I couldn't get past the first 5 minutes. I was hoping for something light and fun after ITSAY Ep 4, but this is way more depressing.
Thank God my mother is not like Teh's. Her reaction to my coming out was terrible, but in only took her a few months to completely accept it. Teh's mother is absolutely suffocating. She's well-meaning, but Jeezus. Is there any doubt why Teh is the way he is? Can you imagine the weight of expectation on him?
Do you ever feel like whoever edited this used entire takes and didn't cut out all the footage after the action of the scene was over? Every scene seems to end with people just staring at each other without saying anything.
The first few episodes I was excited by this series, but it's gone nowhere. If I'd skipped the last four episodes all I'd have missed is the reconciliation with Tan's father, who is the worst offender for standing around staring.
The ominous music that plays whever It is in a seen never gets old, though.
I like Teh and Oh Aew but I won’t get sad if they don’t get together, I’m dead inside. I died alongside…
How did you get that invested in Bas and Oh so quickly? I'll feel bad for Bas because he's so nice, but the show is doing something wrong if you haven't invested in the main pair...
