i want to enjoy the Ray Sand couple but they are boring me, I'm just not feeling it. I just feel no sincerity?…
I didn't take his reaction to being kissed on the cheek as a joke. If you're right about that, that is more reasonable - we'll have to wait and see.
Mew rejects all of Top's attempts at physical affection - even with the cuddling in bed, Mew interrogated him to ensure he was telling the truth and it wasn't a trick.
If Mew doesn't trust Top's intentions, then he shouldn't be in this at all. It's one thing to want to wait, but if you really suspect someone would like about childhood trauma to get in your pants, then you're an idiot for sticking around.
What I mean by different genders is that the uke always has to be pursued, is always the bottom, and always needs someone to "take care of him." He's always way, way less into sex, sometimes to the point of it being something he reluctantly does to reward the seme for protecting and guiding him, and the uke usually has very little agency.
The are very clearly boys dropped in a traditional pre-feminst female role. Just as often as not, they're just the author inserting herself into the story to fantasize about tall muscular domineering men. Not that I don't, but still.
To be honest, I'm not feeling any of the couples. It's almost a porn plot without the hardcore. I've seen enough…
I agree with that - it's sort of softcore porn. I do like Neo & Mark for that reason - they seem to have good chemistry in love scenes, but I don't have an investment in any of the couples, at least not yet. I doubt I ever will in Mew and Top, but the others could happen with the actors they have playing the roles. A lot of people hate Boston, but you can't say Neo isn't doing a great job with the role.
I thought it was just me who wasn't feeling anything with FK (but I'm afraid to say it because of the fans ๐ ๐ ๐ )and…
I'm starting to think that being good friends in real life is a bad thing for onscreen chemistry. Maybe the intensity drains away when you know someone too well. It probably varies from person to person, but I wonder if there's something to that. It would make sense that you get more acting against someone you don't know. I've always thought that having experienced older actors in BLs really helps pull good performances out of the younger ones, like in Miracle of Teddy Bear or all the stories with grandmothers in them.
I didn't enjoy their relationship in eclipse or moonlight chicken. But before watching those shows I watched tonton…
Yes, I made that point above before I read your response - I totally agree. I hated Tonhon Chonlatee, but Khaotung was really good in it, and he was totally charming in in ATOTS. But for some reason it just isn't working with First. And First and Gawin were so intense in Not Me, so it's not First's acting either. Sometimes maybe two actors just aren't the best pairing.
Is it just me or are the scenes between sand and ray so freaking hot, for instant the smoking scene in ep 2. They…
It's not just you, but it's also just not me. I like their character dynamic and dialogue, but I don't feel any heat at all from them. They both have big dark eyes that don't hurt any, but that makeout scene was weird. The smoking scene had something to it, though.
YES please, let's get crying Boston! I hate him so much, he totelly deserves to cry
Why do you hate him? He's perfectly honest and straightforward. If he were deceiving people that would be one thing, but he always says up front that he doesn't want a relationship. Nick knows that and is doing it anyway with the intention of making Boston his boyfriend, so isn't it him that's operating under false pretenses and against the boundaries set by Boston? Why are Mew's boundaries fine but Boston's aren't?
I actually want to see Top make Mew cry - set so many boundaries and someone will give up and move on. If someone freaks out when I peck them on the cheek that far into dating, I'd leave and not look back - they must have serious issues that I'm not qualified to treat, nor do I have the time or interest even if I did have the qualifications. He's a grown man in his 20s, not a high school kid.
I didn't watch all the Firts and Khao dramas, only Moonlight chicken and this kiss really felt awkward and I love…
I think maybe it's the direction. The kiss was high-speed like it might be when you're actually doing it, but not when you're just starting. A slower-paced kiss escalating to greater passion with them bumping and grinding to go with such a frenetic kiss might have seemed less weird and unnatural.
It's a frequent thing in BL that the actor's torso's aren't touching in love scenes and it's weird. I've commented that Leo is always planking over Fiat instead of f@#$ing him, in exactly the same way in every love scene.
I like the plot dynamic between them, and the dialogue is pretty good - it just feels like when you go to a jar full of cookies you really like but they've gone a bit stale. You don't hate them, but it's just not the cookie you liked so much when it was fresh-baked.
On the other hand, Mark and Neo are still in the oven.
About TopMew kiss on the cheek:I was wondering the same thing after seeing this kind of reaction after a kiss…
I agree about sniff-kisses, but it didn't look like one to me. I watched it again and I think it's impossible to tell because the kiss was not in the frame and Mew pulled back. So it's possible, and maybe I just didn't see it that way because we don't do sniff-kisses where I'm from. Although if you did, you'd probably get. reaction similar to Mew's because it would be weird AF.
But even if it was a sniff-kiss, people don't insert a cookie halfway into their mouth and then ask a friend or someone you do't know very well to eat it, either, right? Even in the sniff-kiss context, the cookie was still going much further.
Sand and Ray are my favorite couple!! Honestly every couple is giving except Mew and Top.. I'm sorry ๐ญ They…
Mark's thighs are not far behind - I wish they'd show them off more. I've rewatched scenes in MSP just for a glimpse of his muscled calves. But Neo has a perfect... everthing.
Mew and Top are putting me to sleep. ForceBook just isnโt selling it to me. Iโm getting nothing. No charm.…
Ugh, not KristGawin (but as much Gawin as possible, please). And I feel like First & Khaotung are phoning it in - for me their make-out scene was so uninspired that I found it uncomfortable to watch. I really wish they'd stop mating actors for life in BL. Look how exciting and fresh Neo & Mark are,
I get something from Force, but it's on an entirely superficial level - that is a beautiful man. When you look like that there's some at least one-way chemistry that just exists by default. Zero from Book, but I'm not sure if it's his acting or that his character is a 12-year old girl instead of a grown man.
