Yeah maybe because he is family he never thought to suspect he was faking. Even other people around him didn't know, but how did he know they would find Jin Mook with the evidence at that exact moment? Either DS is a mind reader or it's a heck of a coincidence. Maybe it will show in 8 how/why they got there. There was another inconsistency in ep 6 that I was hoping would get cleared up in 7 but was instead made worse, so now I don't feel like holding my breath anymore...

I just don't buy that Jin Mook was able to outsmart DS for 20 plus yrs but DS suddenly knows every move Jin Mook will make. Maybe this will be made more clear in ep 8 how he deduced that it was a diversion idk...The way they set the scene, and JW's line at the end perfection. The problem is how they got there lacked some logic and it bothers me, but don't get me wrong. I love this drama. I rant because I care ; ) Oh, and the music is awesome, especially Bibi's "Timeless."

Yes, yes and yes! These were exactly my thoughts. For as smart as Jin Mook is, he got caught way too easily. How on earth did DS just guess that Jin Muk was using Jae Yi to create chaos and move the body.

That's interesting. I never thought that way, although I have suspected Jeong Je. The show makes him look so suspicious with some of his behavior, but if he didn't do the murders 20 yrs ago, then I think he may have witnessed one of the murders but doesn't remember the details. He just knows instinctively that it wasn't DS. I have never really suspected DS because it is just too rare for the main leads to be the villain, but I wouldn't mind if I'm wrong lol.

I usually like to binge watch shows after they air, but I have to say with this one, being involved in the comment section and sharing theories while waiting for the eps together is pretty exciting.

I was wondering that too. Why didn't DS say anything at police station or to Ji Hoon's sister about Min Jung getting home safely, and why didn't Jin Mook say this at the end of 6 when DS asks him how he knows it isn't Ji Hoon? If Jin Mook wanted to lie about it then he wouldn't have told DS and JW that he had seen her.

Yes, that is what I thought too, but I was wondering why DS didn't tell anyone that Min Jung made it home that night, and Ji Hoon showed up at the shop shortly after. So I thought maybe DS was also testing JM's to see if he would give an honest response, which he didn't but why would JM tell Joo Won and DS but not tell anyone else? Idk I am confusing myself now haha. Anyways, I think you are right.

That ending though...It's only ep 6 and are we to believe they are really revealing the killer this early on? If they spend the rest of the episodes revealing everyone's past secrets and relationships and slowly laying a trap it is still possible, but I also wonder if the information we are being fed is truly reliable, since they showed DS laying out MJ's fingers and I don't really think he did that. How do we know that JM's cutting off MJ fingers is real, or if his timidness is really an act or not? I don't know what's real anymore. This show is really messing with my head but that's what I love about it.

Do we know what happened to Min Jung's mom? I can't remember if they said, but what if Jin Mook killed her too?

Well, me too lol. They obviously making Jin Mook the most suspicious this ep, but I still went from JM to JW's dad to JJ and back to JM again hahaha ha ha T.T

At the end of 6, DS asks Jin Mook "how do you know" as if to say JM knows because JM is the one who did it, but I wonder why DS didn't tell anyone that Min Jung made it home because her dad saw her? Joo Won even heard and recorded this so eventually it would be known that neither Ji Hoon nor Jeong Je were the last known to have seen her. Maybe DS isn't saying this to not let on that he suspect Jin Mook, but Jin Mook knows that he knows this, so isn't DS not saying anything letting on that he suspects JM? Or is he pointedly asking how he knows to see if Jin Mook will tell the truth?

I can't tell if JJ's mom is suspecting her son and in denial about it, or if she knows he saw something, maybe even what he saw. She suggested counseling, which makes me think she doesn't know what happened in the past but truly thinks he didn't do it. When she said " how would you know that?'" does she really think DS is the killer or does she know that he is not and wondering how JJ knows?
