When you say listed, is on MDL second part? No one is confirmed it's just MDL put the names that were said in…
Omg true, you're right. I didn't realize they hadn't confirmed all the supporting cast yet. Thanks for the info βΊοΈ I really like her too, and I could get on board that ship! π
I have said it earlier, I actually am one (only one I guess π ) who never wanted her to fall for him so soon.…
Actually you're not alone in this! I would've preferred them holding off on Naksu being open with her feelings, culminating in a more emotional scene happening around this time in the show, to the circles they've been running with these explicit love confessions for the past three or four episodes. Because the way they did it feels like they deflated the air out of the build-up they created.
Naksu's original body (actress) is listed for part 2! I love mu deok actress, but I am looking forward to Naksu…
Oo yes, I knew that! I was talking about the character Joo Wol played by Park So Jin :D She''s the head of the courtesan house, the one who helps Mu Deok. I agree with you, I would be excited to see Go Yoon Jung come back as Naksu too!
I think you should change your name from junebug to bah humbug?
I've never made a personal insult at you. Meanwhile you have accused me of having a bug up my a$$, called me arrogant, called me bah humbug. That isn't a personal insult? I leave you be and never reply to your comments, but you're always on MY comments insulting me. If I bother you, leave me alone. I never start a discussion with you, you're always replying to MY comments. Block me, ignore me, problem solved. That's the last I'll say. Take care.
I think you should change your name from junebug to bah humbug?
Nope, it's not! π I've been here since the start, and have posted positive stuff too. There's a difference between unwarranted negativity and healthy engaged criticism. Don't you ever get tired of endlessly defending the show and making personal insults at anyone who disagrees? Feel free to block me so you don't see my comments. Or just ignore. Why keep engaging with me if you dislike me so much? Clearly others agree with meβI'm talking to them, not you. Bye!
This is still an enjoyable show but the major excitement and forward momentum from the first five episodes or so is gone. I feel like it's evident in the way the hype has slowed down--growth in number of watchers slowed down majorly, more and more people expressing disappointments that are dampening the positives. Becoming more clear in the writing how things are being dragged out with a Part 2 in mind. Even if there is a Part 2, the first season should feel excitingly paced and have its own complete plotline, with lots of excitement and big events. They are dangling too many revelations and big things in front of us without delivering, for too many episodes. Things only happening now that should have happened like five, six episodes ago. Too many characters at a standstill, not changing or taking action.
Still time left to recover a little in this Part, but unfortunately at this point a lot of my excitement that I had from the start has gone down. I don't mean to sound like a hater. But in the first weeks it seemed this could be a huge hit that would be remembered as a major success in the fantasy Kdrama genre. Unfortunately the writing hasn't lived up.
I'm starting to get frustrated.β The lore of the world they created.β The complex background of all the characters…
Agreed with you. Still enjoying it, but this is frustrating. We get a lot of exposition in each episode telling us new stuff so we can't necessarily call them "filler." But what actually happens/what do our characters actually DO? Hardly anything new...
Naksu and Uk's feelings for each other have been clear for episodes now. What is the use of wasting time with these Yoon Ok scenes every episode? They contribute literally nothing. Lovely character and lovely actress being wasted like this πͺ
Finally watched the two episodes and i am still crying over the swing scene. So beautifulππ I really like…
"if one era needs a psychologist (or ten)" Wahaha ain't that the truth π Agree with you this feels like a nice combo. It's not doing anything super new or groundbreaking but it feels fresh somehow.
I'm going to be this drama personal hype-person.ππYeah, MDL & kdrama twitter is sleeping on it. There's…
Oh that is good to know! I'm down for the fun kind of stupid ahaha. I'll keep it in mind for when I'm needing a turn my brain off kind of show :D Thanks for letting me know!

Yessss do it! ππΌ lolol
Yes, it's competing with lots of good stuff, plus doesn't have a cast that would pull people in I guess. For me it's nice to see a few new faces and I think they're all great so far βΊοΈ
Really liking KMJ in this too! I haven't seen him in a historical, I think he really suits it. (Apparently he did one before but it looks questionable ahahah). I'm a big Sageuk fan so it's always fun for me to see an actor I know from modern dramas in a historical!
The form of rope walking/dancing here is traditional to Korea and can be seen in many Sageuks. So I'm confused π
