It has been a big discussion. So yes you are spot on with your observation!

Please do not worry, the love line is not changing for Part 2. There may be bumps in the road but this is Jang Hyun and Gil Chae's story ultimately. There will be more to see for them.

There are similarities. Lighter in the first few episodes with some comedy and then it gets really serious. My Dearest feels grander because there is a lot of travel and bigger political conflicts and war. Red Sleeve you are stuck in the palace for the whole drama pretty much. The FLs have similarities too in that they have character arcs where they mature a lot over time. They are both MBC dramas and actually have the same cinematographer so that is a common point too.

I noticed them from Alchemy of Souls airing time, and have reported them before. I cannot believe they are allowed to put such disgusting posts on their feed without being banned...

In the 2 years later, the two women running away from the slave hunter woman trying to catch the runaways, before Jang Hyun stops her arrow...They kind of look like Gil Chae and Eun Ae. One of the women has her hair in a braid down the back with a blue ribbon in it. That is how Gil Chae always wore her red ribbon in her hair.

It is probably just a coincidence but I didn't even notice them the first time I watched the episode.

It's different. Seasons of a show are created separately with a contained storyline in mind for each season. Usually there is a big break before the second season is aired after the first and they are filmed separately. You write season 1, then film season 1, then write season 2 and come back to film season 2 and so on. Here it really is just one 20 episode show they wrote altogether, film continuously, and are releasing in the same time span. It's just a break is necessary because they are continuing to film as the first 10 episodes airs so they need more time for postproduction. I also heard something about an Asian games event possibly playing a part in the airing schedule by interrupting but I'm not sure if that is so.

I've just come from watching some Kdramas back to Cdrama land so maybe that's why it is sticking out to me, and for others who have been watching more Cdrama recently maybe it's not as noticeable :D But I'm glad to hear I'm not just crazy! ahaha.

Not season 2. The show is 20 episodes long. It is split into 2 parts with a break in between as they are still working on the show.

I haven't seen it mentioned so I am wondering if it could just be my own sound setup or if I am just sensitive to sound...Does anyone else find the background music/soundtrack too too loud and sometimes distracting? I mean, I need subtitles anyway so it's not a huge deal 😂 But they talk in such whisper voices, and the music is LOUD, sometimes I feel I can't hear the dialogues and it is a little distracting.
Please tell me if it's just me?
