Title Bad Buddy
I think one of the way to make sense of Pat's chat ID was to think of it as his childhood Chuunibyou-edgy phase, lol.
Patlnwza55+ is basically "Pat the god of kool, lollol." That's why Pat was kinda reluctant to answer his ID when he heard Pran's such tame and normal sounding ID.

what other remakes has he been part of? :)
The movie "Classic Again" from K-movie called "The Classic"
and the series "I Need Romance" from K-drama of the same name.

the series is meant to make you feel empty and cry your heart out :)
not really..... I was empty as in "not feeling anything" and I was shocked at how apathy my heart was at the time.

Anyway, I just finished it today, and I don't really like how it ended that much. I was feeling something during the middle part, but the end was... well, kinda so-so.

I'm on ep3... and I don't get this drama. The client story sure is nice... but it just make me feel empty... I dunno. Maybe I should rewatch it from the start with a better mood.

On Girl from Nowhere Season 2 May 14, 2021
This season is a bit weird for me. It's certainly different than the first one. I like Nanno's choice in revenge more in the first season as they help me question the action and circumstance more. In 2nd season, Nanno's revenges have... quite a bland reason: just plain ol' revenge, and some revenge felt too over the top even for people who was really wrong. I don't like Yuri as much as Nanno tho. I find Nanno's more iconic than Yuri. I like the power game and the rivalry between the 2, but I wish there are more episode where Yuri can shine more so we can see revenge in her perspective and in turn, get a better view upon the conflict of how the revenge should be served. The ending was... well, it made me care less about the future season if there will be one. It's interesting to think about for sure, but it's just... "huh?" for me.

The Liberation episode was the best for me. A strong direction with revenge and clear power play between Nanno and Yuri.

I'm personally not that much surprised by the final 11 except for a few ranks. I never thought both Patrick and Nine would make it. I had some inkling that Caelen might not gonna make it, but I never thought it was gonna be true. Bo Yuan's was a pleasant surprise. Top4 are pretty much a given. 11th rank was a true surprise for me. I had the feeling from the start that either AK or Oscar would make the cut, but it was still a surprise for me.

I hope other contestants can find their own path to walk and be successful in the future. China is a big country. I sure hope there're plenty spot for these talented people to make a name for themselves.

btw, it's funny to think about Zhang Jiayuan. I'm not sure how his company work, but he basically stay in the same place right? lol. I hope that he can have time for his old mates of galaxy band.

No matter who got to debut, I know now that it would leave me with sadness. I really like many people there, and almost all of them just deserve the debut. There will always be someone I feel sad for.

i was so uncomfortable during the confrontation scene. i felt so.......weird and nervous as if it was happening…
I don't think Gene's mom was not supportive and I don't read her expression as "can't accept" at all. She was just shocked that it came down to this right there right then after trying to help avert the topic, and she was also gauging her husband's reaction also. Especially after the reveal of Gene's dad, I'm sure she was also concerned for her husband's reaction to this. Remember that both dads characters voiced their opinion strongly on this topic of gay relationship, and like Robin said above me, they have to balance between father's and son's feeling too.

I think Orn, Sib's mom had rougher time accepting that fact. She clearly wasn't pleased when she found out. Which is a surprise to me since they seems to say it several times that Orn motherly love Gene also.

I don't think Nubsib actually "played" Gene...when Gene searched the first time sex between males on his laptop…
I'd argue that he had some inkling that Aey might have told Gene something along the line coz he was playing the "oh no i'm horny now" part quite well, especially considering Sib's reaction of amusement when Gene told him there was no aphrodisiac pill in the drink.

But fair point on Sib actually asked for consent first.

Oh right, another thing is I was a bit surprised Gene use the term "gay" here, considering how he's been avoiding the topic and questioning himself.

Title Lovely Writer Spoiler
- I knew it! I thought Aey was gonna be interested in Sib at first too. I wasn't suspected a thing until at the end of ep8 where Aey's dialogue pretty much confirmed that he likes Gene, not Sib.

- Aey is ...... I pity him somewhat.

- And.... they do know that Viagra is not an aphrodisiac right? lol. The naivete of bl writer, I guess. kinda cute. I kinda guess it right too that Aey didn't actually put it in. And while I find it funny and cute, I still don't think it's right for Nubsib to play Gene like that. I forgive him coz he's hot. I died every time he's onscreen shirtless.

- The sub just downplay some important lines here. The one I noticed was the one where Aey said he doesn't Gene to hate him. What he said was actually "I don't want you, and only you to hate me" (this is actually hard to translate, but what he said was along the line of, "you are the only person that I don't want to hate me." which is really structurally weird, but yeah). Well, maybe because I like Aey's role a lot, I kinda feel like, even tho he's kinda crazy, he's really trying to be nice with Gene, but it's just not the right way to do it.

- So Tiffy still thinks Tum's gay? Or are we supposed to read his character as gay?

- Gene, girly girl, the way you swiftly got swept by Nubsib's kisses and fondle on the neck on that sofa... you really are head over heels now.

- Gene's mom and brother are so cool. Nice save on the dining table! Jab really love Gene. From his expression, I read Jab's disappointment toward his dad as it came more from the place of being protective of Gene. And the dad's expression is just on point. The self-shame and regret on his face when he rejected his wife's hand is real.

- I have to say that.... even tho it came out nice, the final sequence of all 2 family crying was a bit over the top for me (especially when they showed Jab crying in his room too). I don't know. Maybe I'm too snappy today since I kinda spoiled myself to the fact that his dad used to date a boy. But it made a lot of sense why his dad's suspicion was kinda on-point. You can't fool the gay from the gay moments. One thing about the final sequence was, I was a bit surprised to see Sib's mom was more shocked than the dad, as suggested by the way Sib's dad came to sit and console her on the sofa. I do understand tho that it's gonna take her some time.

- I like that Nubsib is using a more spoiled kid persona toward his dad.

- That's it I guess... I feel like I want to say more, but I just forgot what I wanted to say, lol. It's a nice episode. I never thought the next beat for this story is the overcoming family's acceptance issue arc. I thought problem with Aey's gonna be wilder, but it's nicer this way.

EDIT:
So, I watched ep9 again, and I still think the sub are still wrong here and there. It's not like "bad" bad, but some mistranslation here and there can be a bit annoying especially how the dialogue and the sub can paint a different shade of the same hue.

I think I know why I wasn't feeling right at their first sex scene. It came down to the feeling of I felt Gene was rushed into it by the situation. Nubsib wasn't wrong, but it's just ashamed that it had to begin from that event. At least he asked for consent and that's nice. And how he played this "uncontrollably horny" role to take the lead... doesn't really help me feel better considering how Gene had to put in effort prematurely into it. And by no mean does this ruin the show for me, no, absolutely not, because it was really cute and funny. It's a really small small thing. I just wish I could find someone who share this sentiment. And yeah, I probably should blame Aey for that.

He's almost 26, which means he's 25 atm
What Auntie Orn said was actually mistranslated. What she meant was that Gene and Sib are around the same "generation" not age.

And also I think people often mistook what Tum said to Gene at the beginning. The sub clearly said "It hasn't been 10 years" as it was how Tum reinforce that it wasn't as long as a decade yet after they last met so it would be bad if Gene forgot him now. I can understand this misunderstanding when reading the sub coz I had it too the first time. It's lucky that I know Thai so I know what he actually said and had to rewind to read the sub again to see the small "n't" there.

On Call It What You Want Apr 19, 2021
I commend the theme and issue they tried to tackle in this show. It's a very real issue.

However, I don't really like the style, script and situation that much...... The acting and editing is fine as it seems to be a low budget indie show. Some humor are actually funny, but dialogues can be boring at times. I find the relationship between James and Ait a bit creepy at first, but Ait is kinda working his charm on me a bit so I can tell myself to look pass the creepiness and just watch it as a pass-time thing. I do like that they chose to write his name as Ait instead of It/Itt. While I do find Daniel Chang's accented thai distracting a few times, his acting has quite the charm and he is charming.
I think the star of the show is the "another side" of the small company selling bl. It could very well happened in a big company too, but it will manifest itself differently than in the show itself.

I'm also really curious with how the final line up will turn out. Based on the last ranking, there're only 4 chinese members and I'm not sure how tencent feel about it. It will be international band, sure, but they still need to promote in China first. So, I'm quite interested to see how it will turn out.
