not too sure tbh, they haven't gone too deep in the explanation of this. But I think it's like the leader or the title for a leader of a very top-level pugilist organization and Xing'er is supposedly the new Feng Yun Ling leader after her mother died(?)
I'm pretty sure the whole Feng Yun Ling storyline isn't in the novel. The writers made it up to explain CQ's good martial arts skills since they had to get rid of the time-traveling aspect of the novel when they filmed the drama
Who is the character that Xinger has a bow and arrow contest with in the next episode... I feel like I am not…
don't really remember her too much from the book other than the fact that CQ beats her in that arrow competition and the king notices her archery skill and thus frees CQ from her status as a slave and gives CQ a position as an archery teacher(?) in the Xiao Qi Ying(?) or smth but I think it was supposed to just be a turning point for CQ to finally get a position and be free from slavery (or at least that's what happened in the book) so I don't think that girl is too important for this story....someone correct me if I'm wrong LOL
sigh when will Xiao Ce show up .... loved him in the books also Ouyang Mo, the little kid that YWY and Xing'er…
not sure tbh. ZLY said in an interview that they didn't film everything and only two-thirds, so that either means 2/3 of the book, or like 2/3 of the various plots.
rumors are that there may be a second season but nothing's confirmed.
let's just wait and see :D

my pleasure!! :D
the wait is killing me too I hate how this drama only airs four days a week and not the full week
In the book, YWY and Xing'er are the ultimate endgame, so I'm hoping the drama will show all that. But I heard they only filmed 2/3 of the book sooooo I have no clue tbh

moondust is right!! Xiao Ce (in the novel he is Li Ce) is a crown prince who later becomes king of his country. He becomes one of Xing'er's best friends, but he ends up liking her too. However, he laments how his love for her cannot be compared to YWY's love for her so he does not pursue her as much and he never really tells her that he likes her. His character is a playful person, but that playfulness is actually a facade to protect him from people. However, the ending to his life is quite tragic, and he leaves his young son to be the new emperor. CQ repays his help and friendship by helping his son's country when they needed it (and YWY comes to help her save Li Ce's country too). YWY and CQ also end up raising Li Ce's youngest son as well since Li Ce wanted CQ to take his youngest son away from country politics to protect him. btw, everything I said is from the novel; there may be changes to the storyline in the drama although we don't know yet
Okay so in the trailer Xinger is in the water with someone and he pushes her back I want to know who he is and…
Her first kiss goes to YX in the books, but her first night goes to YWY.
However in the trailer that was shown, I'm pretty sure it's YWY, although that may not be her first kiss haha
YWY: Do you remember me?
me: flips everything, leave her YWY and come to me ;(
That song with "giving up a person for a city" is called "Because of One Person" (translated literally lol) is the OST especially for Yan Xun's character. All the main characters have their own OST song so far I think
Does this get better ? because i'm on ep 3 and everything looks and sounds fake and over the top so far.
yup she's really great, and she's super great in the novel too, we're almost nearing the part where she becomes the Xiu Li General of Northern Yan I think
omg I just realized that YWY took YWH's grandmother out of the cell that she's been held in for the…
he doesn't really get the chance to explain all of his actions, and then some actions it's like safer if people don't know he's the one who did it, and then I also feel like if he did explain, people wouldn't believe him because they see him as cold and calculating or thinks he has other motives idk :((
I feel bad for the adorable Princess. She's so sweet to YX, helped him every time she can and remained on…
^^^omg this I totally agree!! Like she was really dumb and annoying before all the events that recently occurred, but now she's taking action to save her friend with the little power and ability she has and I just feel so bad for her :(( but it's hard for YX to accept her as well so it just hurts both ways :((

hehe ummmm chinese dramas have pretty bad CGI/special effects in general LOL but I've seen so many I've gotten used to it. The coloring for this drama is annoying tbh but the story and acting is really good so far
omg I just realized that YWY took YWH's grandmother out of the cell that she's been held in for the past 16 years in order to learn more about his mother's death. But at the same time, he gains a leverage over YWH, which forces YWH to leave the city for the next 3 years and prevents YWH from trying to do anything harmful towards YX and Xing'er. YWY does so much behind the scenes it's sad that few know it :((

they did have issues with the dubbing during post-production because they changed lines due to copyright issues or smth, but yeah depends on what you like! :D
I am just going to ship both ships this is too hard for me XD
His personality changes in that he doesn't trust her as much as before, and he ends up using her quite a few times in his plans for revenge :(( And he does things that he knows she would be against but he hides it from her. Which is one of the reasons why I like YWY/CQ more haha
I don't think his views change on women, but in the book, he says how because he wanted power and to control the world and stuff, he wanted her to be more of his like faithful follower, because he wanted everyone in the world to bow down to him. Because like after fighting together and leading the army together, he later wanted her to be more like a woman-at-his-side type of person rather than an army-general type of companion.

totally agree with all of you!! :D
Yuwen Yue and Xing'er definitely end up being the endgame in the book, but I felt bad for Yan Xun. However, Yan Xun changes significantly enough and his views on how women (or at least what he wanted Xing'er to be for him) kind of make it easier for readers to root more for Yuwen Yue too
