This drama is sooooo unrealistic but it's soooo funny!!! Shan Shan is such an adorable person I find myself smiling like a mom over her antics lol (also Zhao Liying is super duper cute which is definitely a plus!)

can someone fix the drama description lol I'm pretty sure they took out the time-traveling for the drama and Lin Gengxin's character is actually Yu Wen Yue

In the books, Xie Tong was a police officer lmao so him and Guan Guan ended up having a sad ending :((
but since they changed his character for the drama, then we can try to hope that they'll have a happy ending

The production team were unable to obtain the copyrights for the Pillow Book, which contains the wedding, extra kids, etc for BQ and YH so I think what they had for the ending is actually pretty good considering that the original ending for the main novel was literally YH saying "Qian Qian, come here" LOL

FJ and DH's story in the Pillow Books is actually very different from the story in the cdrama. Because the production team was unable to obtain copyrights for the Pillow Books, the writers had to create FJ and DH's story on their own and only drew some stuff from the Pillow Books haha

I think this author is known for writing sad endings to her novels so I wasn't surprised haha

I think since most of the actors in this drama are not idol actors, the tears are probably real hahahaha idk

I think the last 10 episodes are probably the highlight of the drama, although personally I enjoyed it from the beginning because I loved HQG's character lol

this is hands down my favorite thing to watch out of anything I've ever seen. I've seen the entire series five times and I read all six books from the novel series twice haha

wait omg same I watched season 1 before I read the first book of the series and I was like whuttttt

idk why they casted Jin Dong as Tan Zongming ahaha it's misleading but I love jin dong

because in the book, Tan Zongming says something like how he had wanted to pursue her before but he had very low confidence in his outer appearance and that the only thing he had was money, but obviously Andy didn't need that. They are truly really good friends/business partners in the book.

YAYYY another drama for Zhao Liying!! :D sooooo excited for this omg!! and I love how pretty much most of the book fans are satisfied with the choice of the female lead

the producer is Hou Hongliang, who also produced dramas such as Nirvana in Fire, Battle of Changsha, Ode to Joy, When a Snail Falls in Love, Love Me if You Dare, so this is probably gonna be good too

I like them all! hehe of course sometimes I like one character more than the other, but I think it's normal to not like some of the characters at certain points of the drama and to love some characters at other points. the characters are more realistic that way haha
