Nah there wasn't a sign or anything. The birds flew when Mo Yuan and Ye Hua were born because they're actually twin brothers!! Ye Hua ends up raising their son after Su Su jumps off the terrace.

Ye Hua actually jumps off the terrace with Su Su in an attempt to save her, but obviously it doesn't work because he doesn't realize that Su Su is actually the immortal form of Bai Qian. He's quite devastated afterwards; episodes 27, 28, and 29 show Ye Hua's life after Su Su left and it made me cry a lot. Also Ye Hua is a really loving/doting father to A'Li (their son).

Episode 30 is like the best episode because they meet again. His reaction is one of shock and disbelief and he suddenly realizes that Su Su has technically always been his bride/wife because she is Bai Qian XD super goooddddd

In episode 26, she jumps of the Zhu Xian terrace a couple months after she gives birth to her son (my favorite scene of the entire drama tbh I cried haha). When she jumps off the terrace, she goes back to being Bai Qian, and thus back into her immortal self. In episode 30, she reunites with Ye Hua, but she doesn't recognize him and Ye Hua goes after Bai Qian with a fresh start.b Also, their son is the cutest thing in the world.

I'm guessing you haven't reached the early 20-something episodes yet. Su Su suffers quite a bit up in the Nine Heavens because the Heavenly Emperor will not grant marriage to her and Ye Hua because Ye Hua has that arranged marriage with Bai Qian (do you see the irony hahaha). Ye Hua doesn't want people to be focused on Su Su or else they might harm her so he pretty much avoids are at all costs to make people think that he doesn't care for her and that he'll still follow with his arranged marriage. However, Su Su feels left alone and like that evil woman Su Jin does some bad stuff and Su Su loses her eyes and some more things. So basically Bai Qian did not want to remember these harsh times since they were all just a heavenly trial for her to become a High Goddess. If this doesn't make sense, don't worry, you'll understand it soon! :D

Yes, in the end, Bai Qian does end up with Ye Hua. Eternal Love is one of the few Chinese historical dramas that has a happy ending!

I think Su Su's action can be interpreted as not thinking during the heat of the moment. I mean, her husband disappeared and he could've been dead, so obviously she's gonna try and go out and try to find him no matter how irrational it is because that's like what spouses do LOL

The drama focuses on the women so the male actors aren't as prominent. Wang Kai doesn't show up until episode 10 I think of season 1, but there's more romance in season two for all the characters and he shows up in the first episode of season two haha but yeah this show is definitely more centered on the female characters

totally agree!! in the books she ends up marrying him, so hopefully we have lots more scenes of them soon!!! :D

If you didn't like season 1, you probably shouldn't try this season, although this season is definitely more fun in my opinion (season one was based on book one of the novel series, but book two and three were better) the realism is still intact in this season too although the season's just started.
I really liked season 1 so I enjoy this season even more.

Unfortunately, the son being favored over the daughter is quite prevalent in Chinese culture and very realistic, which is one of the reasons why I love this show. But my heart really hurts for Shengmei since she still feels dedicated to her family despite what they put her through.

Yes, omg Su Su and Ye Hua are sooooo cute but their story becomes more heartwrenching too. Su Su ends up turning back into Bai Qian in episode 26. When she returns back to Bai Qian, she decides to drink this potion that causes her to forget her life as Su Su.

haha yes cdramas have some pretty terrible CGI (shoutout to Journey of Flower with it's terrible CGI but nice story)
I think Eternal Love's CGI is actually not as bad as ones I've seen before LOL. I think Noble Aspirations probably has the best CGI/special effects, but EL is like not even that bad compared to other ones and the story and the drama itself is really good so it's really easy to turn a blind eye to the effects

I think for some people, the drama is really confusing during the first few episodes, but that's because they set up the plot and introduce all the characters which is super important for later episodes. I think most people started really liking it at like episode 12/13 (I honestly liked it from the beginning but everyone has different tastes) but the drama definitely picks up!! :D

personally I didn't like Dong Fang because he used HQG so much (although he kind of redeemed himself), but definitely loved Sha jiejie. I think you should keep going!! The last 10 episodes are the best of the entire drama imo, especially the very last episode. everything is super cathartic

as of now, it is unknown whether there will be a season 3 since we're not sure if they combined books 2 and 3 into this season and there is supposed to be some changes from the book. We'll probably know soon! :D
