can I just say that when Tang Bao changed from caterpillar to human I was very shocked and confused and couldn't stop laughing LOL
also did anyone else notice that the actress for Tang Bao is Shao Xin in Eternal Love lol; going from caterpillar to little snake, not bad not bad hahaha
also I really really really adore HGQ, she is soooo cute and adorable I wish there were ten of her in my life; I would be very happy to have her as my disciple if I was a shifu LOL
After finishing the drama, I have to say that I absolutely love Fengjiu x Dijun. Seems to be an unpopular opinion,…
not necessarily unpopular, for example, I didn't like them at first, but after they explained the backstory in like episode 52, I totally fell in love with them, although it took me that long to truly enjoy their story LOL
there's a user on here (@Jordan) who really loves FJ/DH!! :D
Jordan where are you, you can collect this fan as part of your FJ/DH fanclub haha
here to join you all!! I just started watching this yesterday, already 10 episodes in LOL do I even have a life…
Hi Emily! :)) yes I loved EL and I remember how popular JoF was in China back in 2015, so I decided to start watching this one too XD
I also read your very long comment down below which convinced me to start this drama too hehe
not yet at the heart-wrenching parts yet, but I should probably prepare myself beforehand
here to join you all!! I just started watching this yesterday, already 10 episodes in LOL do I even have a life
after starting Noble Aspirations, watching Zanilia on variety/reality shows like Happy Camp and Up Idol, I've really fallen in love with her personality and really wanted to watch more of her works. So I decided to watch this and give it a try lol
just curious, has anyone read the novel?? if so, how does the drama feel compared to the novel?? (If I actually finish watching this drama, I will most likely be reading the novel in Chinese but I just wanna see what people think of the novel before I actually read it)
so far the story seems quite interesting, and I really really love Hua Qian Gu's cute and innocent character (reminds me of Su Su from Eternal Love, whom I really loved, also I tend to like these kind of characters). I wish people like HQG and SS actually existed in my real life (haha).
Also her pet(?) caterpillar is soooo adorable; I really want one of those too :D
At the moment, not really feeling anything for Bai Zi Hua right now lol except the fact that Wallace Huo is very handsome hahaha
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the person who gave the voice for Mark Chao! The voice really eleveated…
Same! the voice actress has dubbed a tonnnn of dramas, and her voice does change a little bit for each drama (altho maybe because I've seen a lot of the dramas she's dubbed for, I can immediately recognize it's her). Not sure how she does it, but it's incredible!
I'm soooooo excited for this drama!! Ode to Joy is my third favorite drama of all time and I read the novels for this series so I'm super looking forward to this season<3333 Also love how this series is very popular in China too :D
Does anyone tells me the name of the singer for the ending theme I really like it Do you know if the women singer…
The ending theme song singers are Zhang Bi Chen and Aska Yang (Yang Zong Wei)
The woman has this song that I really like (ending theme for Noble Aspirations):

Way to overrated. I have spent 12 ep trying to get into this show but I can't even make it through ep 12…
That's fine LOLOL then just drop it!! no one is forcing you to continue to watch it. But most people liked it after the first 12 episodes lol and a lot of people still liked the beginning few episodes too. no need to ruin the mood for the people who like it.
It's okay if you don't understand why it's popular; but everything is popular for a reason, and you may not feel the same, but that's okay because everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
It's kind of like how I find weightlifting fairy and strong woman overrated. There's always going to be dramas that people think are overrated, so that's fine XD
and did you delete your previous comment or smth lol because I can't find it even when I click on my notifications lol
Bruh y'all need to stop hyping this so much.. making my expectations way to high I'm only one on 4 and…
yeah it gets better when Ye Hua and Su Su meet in the mortal world, but the first couple episodes are a necessity to set up the world they live in and the events/plots that the story later revolves around
I liked the first few episodes because I really dig the whole like brotherhood/friendship among the disciples and I really like strong loyalty things so I enjoyed the first few eps haha
but it's okay if you don't like it! everyone has different tastes :D
it's been almost 2 months since I finished this drama and I still can't get over it! I still rewatch…
I am still stuck in this Eternal Love world and can't seem to get out LOOL XD
I'm currently waiting for Ode to Joy 2 to start airing, as it's one of my favorite modern cdramas
but yes historical dramas are definitely much better !!! <333
it's been almost 2 months since I finished this drama and I still can't get over it! I still rewatch…
The main novel (same name as this drama: Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms) is told mostly from BQ's point of view and I would say that this drama is one of the best book-to-screen adaptations I have ever seen in my entire life. It follows the novel very closely, even taking direct lines from the novel to be put into the script, so the feel is very good.
Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossom Pillow Books are the sequel novels that tell the story of FJ/DH. Their story in the drama is different from the pillow books because the production team could not obtain the copyrights to the pillow books so the writers had to make changes.
so basically BQ/YH and FJ/DH stories are split into different novels
Okay this is a serious addiction i can't do anything but think about this drama. Can you guys recommend me…
Princess Weiyoung is pretty good!! It was the "super popular drama in China" right before Eternal Love aired.
A lot of people who watched Eternal Love liked Journey of Flower too
i just finished watching this drama and im speechless now.. this is the first drama that i watched without skipping…
@cgaman I would say that since the majority of people on here loved this drama, then this drama is definitely good in a lot of aspects, and almost all of us feel for the characters.
Don't know if you've noticed, but you're one of the few people who don't really like this drama, but that's alright. Everyone has their own opinions and tastes, so it's okay if you don't like it! XD
Just let the viewers who choose to give this drama a chance make their own decision about it :)
better than perfect couple? I hated that show and this is the same lead...
I've never watched Perfect Couple because that show looked very lame to me even though I love both Tiffany Tang and Wallace Huo hahaha
Princess Weiyoung was the drama I watched before dropping General and I and picking up Eternal Love. I quite liked this one while I was watching it!! Obviously not as good as Eternal Love but the show has its good aspects. The show is entertaining and does not give you as much emotional feelings/stress as EL does haha. Chemistry between the two leads is very good and they're actually dating in real life now :D Also I love Tiffany Tang so I may be just slightly biased XD
The drama is from a female protagonist point of view (yay!) and it's based on a novel of the same name, although I heard that it's very different from the drama and you might like the novels (I havent read them). But you should probably watch the drama before you read the novels haha
I think the movie was pretty good, and was pretty close to the novel. of course, they have to change some parts due to time constraints, but you don't find it odd or unfitting. I really loved how the movie didn't have the second couple/side characters in it and that the main focus was on the Yichen/Mosheng!!
also Yang Mi is super pretty in the movie and made for a very cute Mosheng<33 I think both Yang Mi and Tiffany Tang suited the female character quite well.
I do think that Wallace Chung made for a better Yichen than Huang Xiaoming did though.
and Na Ying's OST for this song is a beautiful song!! super fitting for the movie
p.s. I do think it's easier to watch the movie after having read the novel or watched the drama ver first because the movie might feel choppy for someone who doesn't know the story but if you know the story beforehand, it's a pretty nice ride in my opinion
I watched this drama because I had just finished Princess Weiyoung and needed something that Tiffany Tang was in since she's one of my favorite actresses.
I watched the drama first then read the novel it was based on and then watched the movie.
definitely novel >>>>>drama >>movie (although I liked all three!!!!)
the only thing I didn't like about this drama was the second couple/side characters. They aren't in the book and they were kind of boring in the drama. Some people may find this drama a bit slow, especially at the beginning, but that is typical of many cdramas. But the main couple is very sweet and they are totally worth your time and their story is quite nice. I like how the drama added lots of extra cute scenes and stuff for the main couple that wasn't in the novel, so that was a really nice move by the writers.
the movie version is actually not as bad as people say, and I liked it because it didn't have those unnecessary second couple/side characters parts
but the novel is hands down the best out of the three. the novel is probably the #1 romance novel in most book polls in China too :D
also, the opening and ending theme songs for this drama are both really good!! :D
This is just like one of those special cuts of the entire drama. It's good to watch this if you loved the drama and only want to rewatch the Yi Chen/Mo Sheng scenes!! (because the second couple is not in this cut so it's fun haha)
but can somone please change this to like "Special Cut" or smth instead of mini-series
wow... I love chinese historical dramas... :) can't go back in korean drama right now. coz there's so…
hmm that's an extremely hard question to answer haha
I think if you're not natively Chinese or knew some Chinese before, than it might be best to enroll in a class because a solid foundation is very important for learning Chinese and is quite hard to learn on your own without proper guidance, simply because Chinese is a very complicated second language to learn.
it's been almost 2 months since I finished this drama and I still can't get over it! I still rewatch my favorite episodes, even now XD
I love this page as well; the support, love, talking with all you EL fans and having these very interesting discussions is a really fun experience!! Love you all~~~

I think the whole Li Jing/Mo Yuan arc isn't until ch 5(??) in the novel
