it had so much potential but is veeeeeery poorly written. The acting of the Female Leads carry the drama all along.

Apart from the plot and whole premise of the drama which is subjective to everyone's preferences, i'll say acting was high tier.
The not so relevant characters had enough and proportional screentime and didn't waste precious time, the whole redemption/revenge/justice ending part could be spread a bit more in the last 3 episodes, same goes for the 2 big revelations.
The end scene of the main family was too short and briefly portrayed.
Clothing department did a fine job. I'd say music department did just average since nothing stuck and the super emotional scenes were enough and didn't need the extra dramatic audio touch to make impact(i don't even remember if there was music in the background and i watched it yesterday..).
I would like for SML to have a bit more of an involvement and impact since he was the one that could truly and powerfully back the FL from the start but that wasn't the case. I think having this actor there could have worked if they invested a bit more in his character.
These are all little opinions after focusing on the drama. All in all it was a really great one.
I'd say at the 8.5-9/10 level. I don't know why it didn't get the same attention as other really good dramas of its' era. Aaaanyway , on my way to check Lee Yoo Ri's portfolio now.

i don't need more than the 60-70 hrs i've spent on dramas that she is in to have a different impression on her. She was also in Crazy Love which i did kinda enjoy but her role was veeeery limited so i'm not counting appearances like these. Only roles where she had decent screentime.
And i'm not gonna watch anything pre-2010 just because she might have been a less disgusting person back then.

honestly if some big changes didn't happen in episodes 20-21-22 i think i would have dropped it.
It started becoming draggy and repetitive. Seeing how most of the 'happy ending' has already started and there are still 10+ episodes to go, it means some misunderstandings/evil scheming will happen soon. I think it could have been more condensed and finish on 20something episodes.
It's not bad especially for a 2014 drama, i wish FL wasn't such a doormat early on and spoke her mind a bit since she had nothing to lose at some altercations. Aaanyway i'll edit and rate it when im done

AAAAAAnd it all went downhill.
Terrible last 10 episodes, every character written poorly, rushed some important scenes and gave more screentime in meaningless ones, also the whole scheme from SML and then him admitting to his fault and all that happened way too fast. Also ML's mother is trash from start to finish. I wish FL fled the country 4-5 episodes before the end and devastated them all..

Anyway it start decently and then spirals down from episode 25 or so.
A hard 6.5/10

Did i say don't watch his work? Did i spread a rumor? Did i swear? No.
But for obsessed ones like you anything that is not a high praise or saying how much they love your beloved 'idol' is equal to a murder.
Try growing up and understanding how freedom of speech and the internet works.
By the way he has a balanced portfolio of bad and good dramas as i MENTIONED in my initial comment, most actors/actresses do. But well you probably can't process anything that is not an obsessive fangirling comment OR can't read simple English so i guess there is no point in further commenting on that matter.
Go do what makes you happy, if obsessing over Asian idols and having the blurriest sense of reality is fine by you then feel free to do so.

well it IS predictable, not cliche, there is a difference. And yes it is slow but overly slow. If these are not problems then it's pretty good as i mentioned above. I'm still watching it and i did recommend others do too.

i mean its good having a slower paced drama where people don't instantly fall in love and there are no rich CEO/poor person romance BUT this is hellishly slow, like comatose borderline dead slow.
It's been 15 episodes and things have progressed MINIMALLY , not only in the romance plot arc but also in what the Summary of the drama is. I mean the part where she is interested at what ML did for the village and she decides to stay and help and all that have BARELY started which one of the crucial things for the plot to begin. 15 episodes could really happen in 7-8 episodes and still be slow paced. We have many unnecessary scenes.
Anyway with a lot of fast forwarding skipping scenes and 1.25x speed it's very easily watchable , it has really pretty actresses and actors and is pleasing on the eye for both scenery and visuals. The kids are cute too and not overly annoying or overacting like babies or little brats(like most dramas).
I would recommend watching it at fast forward and if you are a fan of any of the actors you'll enjoy it even more.
i give it 7.5/10 so far , can potentially reach an 8 and having watched hundreds of dramas i can pretty much predict how the story will unfold in the next episodes so i think finally, yes it will be an 8/10 by the end.
OH! also good job to the clothing department or whatever it is called even though i don't usually comment on these things, they don't make the city / villager people extremely different and extravagantly dressed , just enough difference to distinguish them.

i really hoped the crescendo ending plot was split into two episodes, only the last episode is too much to fit the 'romance' arc, the coming back from getting shot THEN getting framed THEN meeting FL THEN finding a way to fight back THEN meeting the ex partner THEN using tricks for the shares and THEN there is more, the justice ending etc.
I really enjoyed the drama all along. Could have been a bit better in certain parts but overall it was a very good execution Definitely in the 8.5/10 range that i see it getting charted in various sites.
One thing, FL is shown as main cast/role but honestly for the first 9 episodes she has barely 5-7 minutes of screentime alltogether . That doesn't seem very 'main' to me.
Her appearance and acting ofcourse makes up for it and makes me wonder why she wasn't shown more in the early episodes, i'm sure in all the long meaningless talks and disputes they could dedicate 2-3 mins per episode into cultivating the romance between FL and ML so the payoff later would be even better and produce better emotions.
Obviously this and other reasons that i think of now are not big enough to stray people away from watching it.
I totally recommend it if you are not the 'only romance dramas' person.

In When a Snail Falls in Love he played pretty much the same character but because of FL's fragility and the topic of the drama it was more suitable and in place and it didn't feel like he is just a prick. Also here(in Flight to you) FL plays the 'strong independent woman in a male dominated job' role and she really doesn't fit as an actress. Those petite 30+ year old actresses that look anything between 16-22 year olds are abundant in chinese dramas and there are better actresses in this group.
I've watched my little happiness 2 or 3 times i think. honestly we have pretty much the same amount of watched dramas and in a glance i saw a lot of common ones when it comes to romance dramas.

i understand that you have to portray a character as cold and distant until he warms up etc etc like 80% of romance dramas, but this is an example of a bad execution on it. Also as you said, this is ROMANCE genre so when someone ponders to start watching or not, i think they wouldn't be pleased to know that ANY romantic interaction comes after around 27 hours of watchtime.
By the way ML actor has played this cold hearted ML role before and it was a decent drama and execution so my comment isn't truly directed to his acting. Anyway i wouldn't recommend watching this drama except if you are a fan of some actor in it.

nahhh this ain't it, the ML is a complete prick , it's been a few episodes now and he is the main reason to drop this 'drama'. Also ML and FL do not match at all. Even when the writers will eventually force a romance between them it will be stale and uninteresting and that's obvious.
Making characters really obnoxious and straight up annoying pricks can not be redeemed because of their past or whatever (which is revealed later , meaning after you should have dropped it). If he was a secondary character or an antagonist maybe it would be watchable, or if they had some over the top chemistry and tension. Here it's just meh. Also FL's acting is veeeeeery flat and that's actually in any drama i've seen her, in some you can pay little attention to it because of the plot or something but here i think i just adds one more reason on dropping it.

even for a high school level romance thingy it's bad, not even comparing it to real romance dramas.
It gets boring at many points, also very uninteresting small plots, AND only one of the 3 couples have chemistry and of course it's not the lead couple.
6/10. If it was 15 episodes of 30 mins each i would rate it 6.5/10.
Watch it only if you have watched ALL the dramas in your future watchlist OR if you are a big fan of someone in the cast OR if you are 15 years old.

i was in a weird week when i wrote the comment, i actually watched 4 50/100 episode dramas in a row and this was the 5th and it was kinda the last straw, idk his character is very disgusting from what i saw in some episode previews/trailers and the fact that these people are never left to their own devices or DUMPED but even have the nerve to boss around others (like his children) is just yuck. There are a ton of characters like him but this one specifically stuck with me and i can't watch it. Even though im a fan of Seorina

it's a mess, it's a joke, it's like taking the 3-4 most overplayed plots in Asian dramaland mixing them all together(poorly written and executed) and having them be narrated by a 14-year old girl.
I've watched about 250 asian dramas and this is definitely one of the terrible ones.
It's a pity because MOST of the actors are actually decent or even good and i have like them in other dramas. The 'acting' part and the fact that the female evil antagonist got punished were the only two things that went well in this drama.
Wouldn't recommend wasting ~18 hours on this.
It would be a 1/10 if the actors were not who they are.
I'll give it a 4/10 out of courtesy to their careers.

one more example of: Bloat 80% of episodes with draggy uninteresting bullsh*t and rush the ending and other important scenes.
Also it gets difficult to follow at times with all these legal battles and who is who or who is on which side, mostly because it's boring to follow plot arcs that lead to nowhere and because there is no emotional acting from anyone. Even the evil female antagonist is 'quiet'.
The leads have no real chemistry. I'd say it's a total waste of time if you invest your time on watching full episodes.
I do 1.25x speed and skip A TON of useless scenes and still wasted around 12hrs.
6/10. i wanted to like it so much because of FL Actress.

it's very hard to follow at times, also the older male characters all look alike, like there are at least 3-4 characters that you can't tell who is who when it's night and they're drinking. One of them is the policeman but out of duty you mix them..

main male actor's acting is veeeery wooden.
He also has zero chemistry with any other character, not just the FL, not even with his friend.
Also his character is written terribly as well.
The antagonistic characters are shallow and not really evil.
Basically this drama could've been a 6/10 if it was 24 episode long.
Now it's closer to 4/10.
Waste of time.
