Oh what big lips he has... The better to kiss her with!!!Hehehehe.... sorry, sorry.... I just couldn't resist…
Why do I have the impression that she's been taken advantage of? Poor Li Qin. She's so beautiful that all normal men would want to kiss her like that XD. Naughty, naughty Wang Dalu.

Now that I can focus more on the OSTs, especially the instrumental ones, OMG, these are some of the best tunes. So sad, so mysterious, so heart pounding, capturing everything in the story. Must listen!

So she is in love with Bo wang. But she doesn't try to burden him with reciprocating, she just saves him. It is…
Exactly. Praising Ji Chong and not Yao Ji is unfair. Furthermore, Yao Ji has also cured Ma Zhaixing's injured legs, and saved her from poisons. Comparatively, I think Yao Ji has done more good than Ji Chong has (some people are going to jump on me again :D).

Thanks for your honest opinion. Yes, in those times, people were not so delicate. They endured all kinds of atrocities and abuses, and continued living. What Ma Zhaixing encountered at that scene was nothing compared with what others have endured. Furthermore, she has also survived the brutal annihilation of her whole family and continued living as a normal person. That means she's strong and not easily traumatized like that. Thanks again.

What is Ji Chong's inner animal? Ma Zhaixing feels like a cute tiger pup.

Well, put yourself in her shoe. If you're being so traumatized, would you be still hoping to see him, or would you be shaking with any mention of his name? Would you be staying as far away as possible, or would you be still trying to get close to him? For Ma Zhaixing, time and time again, she tries to be close to him and hopes to see him again. If she's really traumatized, she doesn't convince many of us here :)

One of my favorites too. But many people dislike it after episode 15. Let me know if you feel the same :)

I started crying from episode 38 onwards, and then almost every episode thereafter. I don't think people who hate Bo Wang can feel how we feel :D

Yes, I love their romance too. Do you watch with subs?
Yes, she hates him; she wants to kill him to avenge for the deaths and he tries to help her kill himself to redeem for what he has done. She marries Ji Chong for politics and for taking Prince Bo down.

There your fire crackers XD
If you're not a Xiao Zhan's fan, I'm probably a bigger Xiao Zhan's fan than you then (see my avatar, this has been with me forever). I'm not calling you an overzealous Xiao Zhan's fan but I have experienced how Xiao Zhan's fans behave. I'm definitely not Wang Dalu's fan, but I find his acting not too bad here (at least he captures the essence). I like the Bo Wang character because I find what he does is appropriate under the circumstances. I didn't like the Ji Chong character at the beginning because he works for a bad cause. Then he switches gear. Still, I'm not that fond of a sweet talker as compared to one with few words, though in real life, this would be switched.

I point out your irony because you don't allow people to criticize a character you love, but at the same time, you don't allow others to defend the characters they love. Wouldn't you call that irony?

You make me sound like a tart lusting for Wang Dalu. Probably I am but what has that got to do with the characters we're talking about?

I know we have very different experiences in life that make us look at things totally differently. That's why you don't necessary like the dramas I love, and I don't necessary like the dramas you call good. That doesn't mean we have to be enemies and curse each other.

MDL is a fun platform for us to voice our opinions without fears for backlashes. I don't agree how you have viewed the Bo Wang character, so I give you my perspectives. If you don't agree, so be it. You don't have to get so angry over it.

Watching dramas is fun. Let's watch happily.
