I've been puzzling over this part too, and now you've cleared it up. Yes, of course, she hasn't been 'fixed' per se. She leaves because in Singapore, no one would know about her past. For face sake, she can't stay in China and be near to Ling Xiao anymore, and that suits everyone just great. No wonder Ling Xiao's colleague urges her to read Jianjian's article and shuns her like a contagious disease (practically running away from her apartment).

Heroes to da rescue. Don't worry. You're in good hands. Yes, this drama is so funny and yet it makes us all cry, practically in every episode. That's because we find ourselves relatable to the characters, as if we're seeing ourselves on the screen. Enjoy!
