Hahaha! They're making a BL out of the scenes. No idea what they're saying, so blur.

I am yet to start this drama.... can anyone give me a suggestion about whether I should watch this? From the comments…
In addition to all the happiness stated in the above comments, you'll also be drained and traumatized. Watch for the hot male lead! hehehe

some people are saying ˜xuan ji needs to suffer˜. she already suffers too much. there isn't only physical suffering,…
Of course they have to make SF suffer as much as possible (almost in every episode) so that when the catharsis comes eventually, everyone would be satisfied. Just that, the writers are so cruel to the viewers :D

Hahaha! I'm not a shifu, far from it. I'm just a crazy Chinese drama addict who tries to hide from reality XD

That's true, but HC has been a factor, feeding all that faked news into the her dumb head which is missing with a lot of neurons. I can give you a heads-up -- until the most recent released episode, the frustrations still continue, one way or another.

Amazing drama but how they concluded the story with Ling Xiao and his mom sucked to me. All those years of mental…
Yup! That's my only qualm with this drama - they have unrealistically concluded Chen Ting's issues and Ling Xiao's wound. It's really not that easy. How can Ling Xiao handle another attempted suicide like that with no mental effect at all this time? Instead he's healed almost completely. I'm befuddled ?????

Oh no, don't quit. Many of the endings are not explicit. They may seem as open endings but not really so if you look at the small little details. I realize the Chinese scriptwriters have that tendency. They don't want it to be too blatant as "the couple marry, have kids and happily every after". They like to make things more subdue and provide the viewers more discussions based on individual interpretations of the story.

I think she has already forgiven him when he lets all the truth come out 1 year after the death of the then Emperor and clears her family's name. Just that she can't go back to him just yet because he's in mourning for 3 years. So 3 years later, she's back. That tells a lot.

Sigh! Before I started, I was hesitant because of the number of episodes. Now we're coming to an end. Where has all the time gone?

Throughout the drama, Ling Xiao always carries that air of sadness with him. He only beams up and smiles when he sees Li Jianjian. SWL acts out these emotions so well silently.

Title The Heiress Spoiler
The ending:
If you need a wedding to show that they're together, then perhaps it's open ending. For me, I look at the small details like, she's still single, she goes back to the city, she smiles when she catches a glimpse of him, it shows she still in love with him and wants to see him. He builds a restaurant based on what she mentions once, he's still single and still searching for her, showing his devotion for her. Now that he's the Emperor, no one can tell what he can and cannot do. Based on all these facts, I don't see why they cannot be together again. Perhaps they should have added one more scene: he turns and their eyes meet, both smiles, the end. This would have been more reassuring for the viewers :))
