Title The Heiress Spoiler
I don't think that expression means to let everything go. If it does (to let everything go), then she wouldn't…
I think she has already forgiven him when he lets all the truth come out 1 year after the death of the then Emperor and clears her family's name. Just that she can't go back to him just yet because he's in mourning for 3 years. So 3 years later, she's back. That tells a lot.

Sigh! Before I started, I was hesitant because of the number of episodes. Now we're coming to an end. Where has all the time gone?

With all the comments here about the ending, I'm not surprised they may come out with an epilogue. Stay tuned. :)

I have finished this drama and feel very satisfied with the ending of this story, I feel the writer has composed…
Throughout the drama, Ling Xiao always carries that air of sadness with him. He only beams up and smiles when he sees Li Jianjian. SWL acts out these emotions so well silently.

Title The Heiress Spoiler
The ending:
If you need a wedding to show that they're together, then perhaps it's open ending. For me, I look at the small details like, she's still single, she goes back to the city, she smiles when she catches a glimpse of him, it shows she still in love with him and wants to see him. He builds a restaurant based on what she mentions once, he's still single and still searching for her, showing his devotion for her. Now that he's the Emperor, no one can tell what he can and cannot do. Based on all these facts, I don't see why they cannot be together again. Perhaps they should have added one more scene: he turns and their eyes meet, both smiles, the end. This would have been more reassuring for the viewers :))

It's not explicit, but it's not open ended either. It's HEA.

This series will linger in my memory for a very long time. The details and the emotions are masterfully delivered…
Yes, what Mingyue did with her fish, seemingly unimportant, speaks volume - let go.

I'm re-watching this drama :)
This drama is like the medicine for my soul, I'm taking it like vitamins, small doses daily - not like the type Ziqiu takes from Ling Xiao though (and he even says taking 2 from each bottle for nourishment - silly Ziqiu) XD

Can anyone explain to me why yueliang's mother and father's quarrel which led to divorce was yueliang's father's…
Ah! You're touching on exactly the point the writers are trying to highlight - there's no exactly who is right and who is wrong. With Mingyue's mother being a control freak, it is suffocating living under her, and in the viewers' eyes, she is at fault. But Mingyue points out that the faults are not on the mother alone; every one of them contributes to the situation they're in. Mingyue's family is very typical of many Asian families. When one partner is too lazy to think about the path for the family, the other takes over. Over the years, it becomes a habit/routine. It works well when Mingyue is little because warm dinner is always ready, the house in spick and span condition, the kid's learning excels, all the after school classes are taken care of. But as the kid becomes an adult, the habits of the adults still haven't transformed. This leads to the resentments. Mingyue points out that, though a good father who provides for the family financially, his hands are clean all the time. He has never attempted to help out nor made any decisions. Now, he is trying to blame his wife for everything, after everything she has done for them, that's not fair. Many divorces have similar reasons: one partner blames the other for being too controlling and they can't stand it, but has never looked into themselves.
