So many cross-dressing dramas these days. She also cross-dresses in a contemporary drama airing now, My Unicorn Girl, with another super good looking ML.

- Chen Ting tries to kill herself to redeem herself.
- Ling Xiao makes up with her.
- She returns to Singapore with Chengzi
- Li Ba and He Mei get married

I would have thought she should apologize to everyone, and make good of her promises in actions, instead of redeeming herself by death. Returning to Singapore is a relief for Ling Xiao and everyone else but it is also an escape, temporarily, if she still hasn't changed; she still can come back and haunt everyone. For this, I feel the writing could have been better for Chen Ting's conclusion.

The only thing that troubles me is, she uses death to resolve everything. Though most viewers here want her dead, but if she had really died, that would have made bigger holes and cast darker shadows on Ling Xiao and Chengzi. So at this point, she still hasn't redeemed herself, but somehow, Ling Xiao has walked out of that shadow and forgiven her as if he's a new man. In real life, it doesn't work like this.

I guess so (you watching live) because there's a slight delay on other platforms.

The synopsis here is not very accurate by saying "three troubled youths". Li Jianjian is never troubled. She is better than most normal youths.

There's even a decapitation in one of the lives. They chop off Si Feng's head. It's gruesome. Can't imagine poor Si Feng without a head. I think all of us would be traumatized, completely!

In that last clip, she sees him and knows he still loves her because she does still love him. No one can stop them to be together now.

He's been waiting for her for 3 years. He can only clear her family name after one year as he promised the late Emperor. He can't marry for 3 years when he's in mourning (that's why he wants to marry her first before he goes into mourning but she leaves). She comes back hoping to see him, and she does; she still loves him. Now that he's the Emperor, he can marry anyone he wants. No one can stop them. Happy ending :D

That's what I thought -

Interesting idea having all these side series, but each's ending is painful - Si Feng dies every time in Xuan Ji's hand or in protecting her, but she never knows of his love nor devotion. She forgets him in the following life time. Still want to watch such tormenting story?
