Sorry, mistook your (@Vietgal505's) meaning. Yes, watched both, and loved both. Haunted by Goodbye My Princess for a long time, until The Untamed came along. It saved me from depression after Goodbye My Princess but put me into another rabbit hole :D.
Just make sure you don't get nose bleed. XD. Jeez! I'm becoming a pervert after watching this drama, not that I wasn't one before, just getting more serious. XD XD XD.
I really do Enjoy Elder woman- younger man Romance drama. Just the same old Secret relationship hiding from parents.…
I do agree with you on the shorter screen time for Yuan Song. I wish he had spent more time with her because he's so endearing and passionate. I wish he had a stronger character than being pushed around like that, getting hurt and not being able to hit back at Ye Lu Ming by getting under his skin (such as showing up more at He Fan Xing's home, workplace, dates etc).

They are the same. The Special Edition version is a cut version (shorter) of the other version. Watch the full version, ie. the 50 episodes version: https://kisskh.at/28723-the-untamed. MDL has a very active community on this drama. You can post any discussions and questions there and you'd get your replies almost instantly.
I watched the first episode, and halfway through, I dropped the drama. The first episode is kinda confusing
Many of us were confused with the first episode too on our first watch. I would suggest skip ahead to the end of episode 2 when it says, "16 years ago". Start there. When you get the gist of the story, you can always come back to watch the first 2 episodes again. The Untamed production team also realize this and that's why they cut off the first 2 episodes in the Special edition.
I'm watching in raw as well and I'm not a native mandarin speaker either so some of the details with the cases…
At this point, is Su Fu really Su Fu in person, or does he just assume the name Su Fu because Ran Yan pulls that off with him at the beginning? In other words, is there a real Su Fu and Killer (Agent) Li has just taken Su Fu's identity?
I was studying the costumes under 'Photos' [https://kisskh.at/28723-the-untamed/photos]. I can't tell you how amazed I feel with the clothing and styling the CQL team has put into these. Every detail is so well thought out, giving us a most beautiful end product. The two main leads are beautiful by themselves, but only the hard work of the whole team could have brought their beauty out to the open like this in the drama. Thanks to the fans who uploaded these amazing photos. Bravo!
I just started to watch and it looks great, but the age gap is too big. Its not cuz she is woman, but in general…
Keep an open mind. If a man can marry a wife who can be as young as his own daughter, I don't see why a woman can't do the same, as long as there is love involved. Later in life like you say, one would be super old and the other still in his/her prime, there's still a lot the couple can do together. Intimacy doesn't involve s** only; it can be expressed in many forms. There may be a limitation with a woman's body when it comes to the biological clock and reproduction, but who were to say a couple must always produce offspring in a relationship?
In this drama, though Song Wei Long was only 18 when he made this series, the Yuan Song character is a very mature character. You'll love his youthfulness that doesn't lack maturity. How Song Wei Long has portrayed his character makes me believe that happiness does exist despite the age gap.
