With SML, the FL does things like: since I'm his girlfriend, this is what I'm supposed to do as a girlfriend, rather than, I'm doing this because I care and love him. So that's the difference in her relationships with FML and SML. I believe, eventually the SML would realize it and encourage Fan Xing to go back to Yuan Song, given Lu Ming is not a bad person himself.

Hahaha! Exactly. He's talking as if he's the expert, giving all the crappy advises. He's almost like a clown. And his niece Minmin is so babyish and cute, throwing tantrums on the couch like that, and he's not even angry or anything. Those are lovely scenes. XD.

Oh, do watch it. It's good. The SML and FL relationship is one-sided, but the naive FL doesn't realize it herself; she thinks that's how an intimate relationship should be like.

I've seen worse SML. This one is not as bad comparatively. More fun with him around because, admittedly, he's rather funny sometimes. He's also not a bad person, especially when it comes to how he cares for his niece and sister, and how he treats his people. At times, I even feel sorry for him because when he loses, he shrugs it off and forces himself to smile. Enjoy the drama.

You're probably right. But somehow, Yuan Song's remark doesn't come across to me as offensive because he feels Fan Xing kind of likes it secretly as she is also taking an interest in him. Had someone said similar things to me and I have no interest in that person, YES, I'd definitely kick his ass out.

Lu Yi was imprisoned because he went to the Emperor to ask him to clear Yuan Jin Xia's grandfather's name, knowing he'd be arrested and punished by death. Jin Xia's whole family was annihilated by the Embroidered Uniform Guard at the order of the Emperor when Yan Shi Fan's father implicated her grandfather. Lu Yi's father was the captain of the Embroidered Uniform Guard at that time, and Lu Yi felt responsible. He wanted to repay Jin Xia's family for what his father had done.

I believe Jin Xia waited for many months for Lu Yi before his release. Not sure about the exact time but the scenes showed spring, summer, fall and winter. So you can interpret that yourself.
