Since I started watching it, I was the one who wrote the synopsis. The previous one was long and confusing. It…
Yes, I think you're doing great by writing a different synopsis that doesn't copy and paste from elsewhere. However, I have to say I don't agree 100% with it. I understand you'll be revising it as you watch more of the episodes and I'm waiting for your new synopsis. Thank you for your great work!
You're so right. I share your frustration. I stopped at episode 8 and have no motivation to continue because of…
Wow! Thank you so much for this elaborate explanation. Yes, your amazing words help me see this drama in a different light. And yes, I remember I used to read and relish Gu Long's wuxia novels so much, loving and hating his characters at the same time. Oh boy! How I've forgotten that, and am trying to compare this drama with those recent ones. Thanks again for clarifying the doubts in my head.
I told myself that this year will be different. That I've grown up. Then, why the hell did I sleep at 6 am on…
Ahhhh! You're bringing back all those fond memories of summer 2019 again: how we'd talked about it on this page - it's just lovely.
Like you, I didn't ship with the couple initially, until I watched it again, and then again, each time, picking up certain hints and nuances (I know, I know, I'm slow). Then I watched the BTS, and additional activities they had together. I really can't help to feel that these two have the most amazing chemistry together, whether on or off screen.
Despite I know there's nothing more to those two apart from just pure friendship and brotherhood, I still find joy/sweetness watching them together as a romantic couple. Life is too boring without such fantasy XD.
Allen acting as a 13 year old and then a 8 year old is so cute
I thought I didn't like him, but I'm so in love with him now. I didn't like him in White Snake because of his weird hair-do, but he looks so awesome in his embroidered uniform. His cold face makes him so perfect for the role. So glad I didn't give up this drama.
I feel like I'm going to die of frustration watching this... 99% of the characters involved must be brain damaged.…
You're so right. I share your frustration. I stopped at episode 8 and have no motivation to continue because of all the stupid and annoying characters. However, this drama has an unusually high rating, and I'm not sure if I'm missing something. In your opinion, do the episodes get better?
Am I the only who can't connect to ning que after the cast change? I don't know why but Arthur potrayed ning que…
You're not alone. Watching season 1 and season 2 is like watching 2 totally unrelated dramas. The Ning Que character has totally changed. I understand he's supposed to grow up and become more developed as time passes, but this doesn't feel like development at all; it's a change of character. Also, the other supporting cast who have been replaced, their styles, personalities etc, have totally changed. I can't decide if I should continue ... Stopped at episode 12 and have no motivation to continue.,,,,
One goddamn thing I hate about chinese drama is that they use their FL characters to put over the ML.... like…
I totally agree with you. It really upsets me that Chinese dramas like to portray girls as dumb, silly and love-sick despite they're supposedly intelligent and smart. They're also being portrayed as air-headed because they always fall for some stupid reasons or stumble into the men's arms. How condescending!
