Meiyin is Yuan Song's stepmom. He adores her when she married to his father. That's all to it. He doesn't hide it but apparently he doesn't want to flaunt his wealth too. He Fan Xing is very naive emotionally. She doesn't think how her action may have hurt the other person, because she has never dated and doesn't know these things matter.

She couldn't show her real boyfriend because they were still underground but she needed one to put up a show. So she asked Ye Lu Ming to send her to the alumni get-together and briefly let him appear as if he were her boyfriend, but instead he went in to the party to introduce himself when the others felt that she was only putting up a show. All in all, she takes him only as a platonic friend, and he is a sticky guy.

Finished Ep 24. Though they break up, they still very much in love with each other. Ye Lu Ming has no chance at all because he is only a platonic friend to her. So Yuan Song is safe, and he has a very wealthy father. His father's company is taking over He Fan Xing's company but no one knows about Yuan Song's background yet. This is going to be good, I hope. Also I love the side couples, in particular, Cai Min Min and He Can Yang. Cai Min Min (aka Melon - should have been "Squash" in Chinese) is so cute.

Heck! I don't like her to date him. My poor Yuan Song baby T_T

I'd say so about Allen Ren too. He looks so good in this drama, in this uniform. I didn't like him very much in White Snake. Glad I didn't judge him too soon and gave up this wonderful drama.

Just by listening to the OSTs and reading the lyrics, you can get a lot of hidden information about this drama and its characters. Like for example, initially, I was weary of Xue Yang. But after listening to his character song, I felt so sad; he was remorseful and I felt sorry for him. My favorite songs are Wu Ji, Yi Nan Ping, Bu Wang, Xue Yang and the Jing Xin Yin (instrumental). What're yours?

Ahh.... Such imagination keeps us alive and happy, and away from all the frivolous things that inundate us daily. Dream on .....

Pay extra attention to those stares (longing gazes), listen to the music and read the lyrics (in Chinese if you can manage), in particular, Wu Ji, Bu Wang and the calming tune (Jing Xin Yin).
