Not only season 2, there's also season 3, spread over maybe 5 years. With that in mind, yes, there's a ton of unfinished business and unsolved mysteries. You should watch it if you have time because it's really very good. Just be very patient and wait for seasons 2 and 3 after this. I waited for Ever Night 2 (same author). Now it's out. It doesn't feel that long for the waiting.

Dropping this drama despite Li Xian is one of my favorite actors. It's a shame but a reality that how a drama propels (like Go Go Squid) or damages an actor.

The other 2 teams were very strong with very popular evergreen singers Fei Yu-ching and Li Ke Qin. They are considered the "Voice" in Asia and world over among the Chinese communities. So Xiao Zhan's achievement is very remarkable. Way to go, Zhan Zhan!

Yes, I watched that, but Ning Que is kind of flamboyant there. He orders Sang Sang around a lot, just like a maid, not like now, doing everything for her. Even at the end of season 1 he shows some sighs of love, romantically that is, it's still like, "you're mine because we depend on each other from birth (Sang Sang's)" which is totally different from the type of love he's showing now in season 2. Maybe the love hasn't changed, it's just the actors?

You're right! Despite how doting this new Ning Que is towards Sang Sang compared to the previous Ning Que, something is missing - no chemistry. Maybe too early to tell?
