I like the attitude Wei Ying teaches us, "Whatever, suit yourself", and not be too bothered by the comments. This drama is solid enough to stand on its own, and we don't have to be defensive over any criticisms. And some of these criticisms are indeed valid. So there you go, for the critics. Well said. As a fan for this drama, we all agree that The Untamed has holes and flaws here and there throughout the drama. Compared with Nirvana in Fire, the script may not have been written as well (as Nirvana), the settings may not have been as authentic, the plots may not have been as easily understood, the editing may have been confusing, and yet, The Untamed has successfully captured our hearts and emotions. This is the thing that is very hard to explain. Even scientists are befuddled by our human emotions, why we're attracted to certain things that may deem irrational. I guess, maybe we can call this simply staunch fan support which is unwavering, no matter what.

If you find episode 1 boring and confusing, skip all the way to almost the end of episode 2 when it says "16 years ago". Start there. It's interesting when you said, "just tell me not to do something and I will do it". That's exactly the phrase the main protagonist uses. You're going to love him.
