MY said that gods don't have souls and when they die they stop existing but JW died and he existed in the artifact…
I think in xianxia in general, when the last of their primordial spirit/essence is gone, they are too. The more powerful and cultivated ones, it's very difficult to destroy all of their essence. Even a tiny fraction is enough to grow after 100s/1000s immortal years.
I think the lower tier of immortals (I mean both heavenly and demon realm) can reincarnate after death. However whether the upper-tier of gods can reincarnate depends on the xianxia world.
Just fully realized that the clam tribe cultivates both immortal and demonic energy. Sang You is a demonic cultivator, and Sang Jie had mentioned her aunt as well, but I thought she was getting rid of her demonic energy. I hadn't fully put it together--even though the clam tribe at the start did mention something like they were neutral/staying out of immortal vs demons.
After TTJ became the Jing emperor, he said he wants to unite the world for world peace etc and Xiao lin mentions…
He wasn't planning on expanding his kingdom till he was attacked. So once that happens, he will use all means to defend, attack and conquer; but once conquered he will be a somewhat decent emperor. It's an obvious rule to keep people happy that smart rulers have realized and written about early on--even if they are not morally upright.
He is not devil-god yet, and everything he does is just in reaction to what's happened. He does seem to have some attachment to his mother's tribe and giving them a sort of standing--he takes the throne in his tribe's attire and keeps his tribe's characteristics in his emperor garb.
He doesn't have emotions but he is very aware of 'right' and 'wrong,' 'just' and 'unjust.' And he will react accordingly to what happened. Nothing barred if you go against him, otherwise he will not do stupid things like the dumbass Sheng emperor, who acts on his emotions (anger, pride, jealousy, paranoia/fear, etc.)
is this similar to '''love between fairy and devil ''"drama
The biggest difference (thus making the two dramas not comparable at all) is that DFQC is Demon King. TTJ at the start is devil-god, because devil-god is part of him, and the goal is to go back in time and destroy the devil-god bone in TTJ before he manifests as devil-god.
A more correct comparison would be that devil-god TTJ is more akin to Tai-Su in LBFD, but not trapped. (Though I have my suspicious based on some things uttered by devil-god in the drama that, unlike Tai-su, the devil-god entity's ultimate goal is... spoiler tags below
Earlier someone had answered that in the prologue it was said that devil-god was destined to die so demons can peacefully have their own land or something, so because of that TTJ allowed SuSu to go back in time to change his fate.
So either devil-god (not TTJ) was content on it happening (if the group of gods hadn't defeated him, it would have happened back then rather than SuSu's timeline)...or he somehow had planned ahead to be born thousands of years later into TTJ's tribe.
However, his planning also doesn't make sense because if world is gone, then.... ?? So yeah, all I have are questions.
In the last episode, devil-god said to Ming Ye that when the world is destroyed he (devil-god) too will go into nothingness. And Ming Ye asked if those who follow him know that if victorious they will not inherit a world ruled by the devil-god and them.
Cuz well, the bones inside TTJ are the Devil Gods..... his mom asked a favour from the Demon God, and well he…
Oh, okay. I didn't go back and look. I just figured maybe it was a younger version make-up of the guy in the first episode. I did wonder if they weren't the same people who was the guy she called father.
no not him. to destroy the evil bone inside him. other wise he will continue killing many people in the future

No, I was answering the question that the two assistants are probably the same as 10,000 years before. Same as SuSu's father but on the other side.
As for my question. I was asking how it would make sense in the dream for Ming Ye and devil-god to have same face (not yet happened in the aired episodes) if Ming-Ye sees devil-god's face in the dream.
They are trying to force some kind of quality control - have you ever watched those old 80-90 episode series?…
I am glad. Sure maybe they could've had a handful of episodes more at 50 minutes. But whatever, I'd rather have a tight fast paced show than dragged out, fillers, needless scenes etc.
At the end of episode 13, you can see the actor's actual hair at the nape of the neck and the long wig is separated by the collar of the robe. Maybe it's often occurring but I don't think I ever noticed something like that before on my own. Granted my experience watching xianxia is limited, and overall only a few historical dramas in Asian dramas.
I must be one of the few who isn't annoyed by her or hate her. People for some reason use the Ming Yu timeline…
I've only watched till Ep 12, but I don't think the show writers are at fault so far. I think objectively they haven't shown her as 'bad' per se. I think people already know the novel so they already hate her, and 2 because she's been passive so far others think what's the point of her, which I really am not on the same page. I don't really see her scenes as pointless or unnecessary but rather a character who's being laid out and which will lead to something.
And a lot of it has to do with shipdom and main leads' syndrome. Like, many are just going to dislike her simply because she's either taking screen time or she's the other wheel/ 2FL/villain, etc.
I don't really think not seeing everything is a good enough reason because what was told and shown in the show was enough. It's just people want to ignore it. Also, there is a difference TTJ was supposed to be emotionless, he doesn't really feel the strong emotions as a human would--so what she goes through while not to the same extent, would affect her differently and emotionally.

Yeah, though it seems so far in the show (Ep 12) she's not written to be dislike but that may change after the Ming Ye arc where even though it's not her, it will affect her afterwards and she will behave more like someone written to be disliked. But yeah...agreed with you.

As for my question. I was asking how it would make sense in the dream for Ming Ye and devil-god to have same face (not yet happened in the aired episodes) if Ming-Ye sees devil-god's face in the dream.
But is that in the previews, cause till now his face hasn't been revealed in the episodes aired.
I still don't know how they will make sense of it in the dream if that's the case though? Maybe that will give TTJ some sense of awareness.
