- Some may be wondering why Tantai Jin as the Demon God didn't stop Li Susu from going back 500 years in time.…
I was also told this in another comment thread:

Yea, in the end of the book, in the extra chapter, it told how TTJ wanted to gamble. Because being the devil god, he’s destined to be alone, he’s born to create demon land for demons to live peacefully, and he will die for that, and being alone and hated, and no one would remember or care for him. So when he first saw LSS, knowing she’s a god, and god is known to love all beings without prejudice, he wonder if she could love him. So he let her go. Then he found out they plan to send her back to change his past, so by let her go, he gambles his fate, so that he can escape the loneliness path that he was destined to have. He also used magic to send the goddess statue back in time, n that’s why the statue looks like her lol." https://kisskh.at/693513-hei-yue-guang-wen-na-be-ju-ben#comment-12848981
C’mon people, already some complains about too fast pace, plot holes, missing this and that from the novel,…
I agree with this overall. I would rather have fast pace than fillers, dragging, and idiotic storylines to extend, etc.
Though I do think in some cases storylines may require some more time/episodes, so the ideal would be a flexible system. There may be/are instances where some aspects could be a bit more expounded upon, some things delved into, etc. But if I had to choose, I would rather choose limited episodes than just letting productions do unnecessary long length of drama.
Regarding this, I haven't read the novel nor am caught up with the episodes, so don't know will know how it feels once I get caught up.
I haven't even gone past second episode, but going by comments I have to say, I appreciate the restrictions on number of episode, because really if there weren't a limit shows love to drag, include unneeded filters and etc. And I do appreciate a fast-paced story as well.
But man, I wish they were just guidelines instead of strict prohibitions, so productions could tweak accordingly when needed.
These are two completely different shows... why are y'all always comparing the two...
They really aren't that similar except for the title demon lord and goddess. DFQC was Moon Lord and strongest of the three realms, making him Demon King, but Tantai Jin is demon lord because an equivalent of something like Tai Su in LBFD is part of him and eventually I guess sort of becomes one with him. I have only watched two episodes so far (planning on continuing), but reading the comments and from what I've watched so far, that's what I would say.
Moon Tribe and DFQC's main priority always was to keep Moon Tribe and Kingdom, their lands and people safe, his controlling the three realms would keep his kingdom safe. It may be Tantai Jin's as well but he is shown as an embodiment of evil while DFQC was never an embodiment of evil even in the beginning, as it becomes clear later on in the show with the introduction of Tai Su.
DFQC does seem more strong and mighty in demeanor and voice espcially, and Tantai Jin is very soft spoken but in terms of power, it's obvious he is shown differently and in a more engulfing manner. Anyway they are not the same worlds or same story.
How come Tantai Jin just stood there watching Su Su and let her go into the time portal? He knew the mirror will…
Thanks. It did indeed seem that way, that he was letting her go and observing. But didn't know if it was just an oversight in how they shot and edited.
How come Tantai Jin just stood there watching Su Su and let her go into the time portal? He knew the mirror will be the reason for his downfall but he didn't know how, and didn't realize it was the light bending/time travel that Su Su was elevated in?
Thanks. Do they explain or comment offhand that LSS and XW are 'look-alikes'? I mean, LSS and XW are played by same actress, so I'm just asking if they gave a 'look-alike' explanation of remark.
Reading the description of this drama, I have a question.
Was there a real mortal Ye Xi Wu in the original past? And once FL goes back to past, is she born as YXW or does she just become/take over an already existing YXW?

Here, TTJ recognized her face as similar to YXW from the start.

Or it's just the way they shot it, lol.
