I like your observation and I think you are right that they are reconnected through the seal that reappears on…
"I wonder why her supreme divine power awakened by kissing him, even though it was supposed to be unlocked with marrying Changheng"
My theory is that she may have been fated with DFQC (referring to the Prologue of the show) but everyone other than Si Meng interpreted/assumed that she will destroy him.
Does anyone know why his hair is white and he has a mark on his forehead in the poster but in the drama he doesn't…
Haven't watched this, but going by description it's probably that they made the poster to depict him as a demon-prince. They, dragon-kings, etc are often depicted or described as having long white/silver hair.
Will DFQC regain his hellfire? At what ep will there be a big fight scene?
Don't know if you really want to be spoiled, for now I'll answer hat you won't be disappointed about DFQC.
I don't remember exact episodes, so I can't help you with that. But there are two major fight climaxes within the last 2 or 3 episodes--Edit, like I said not really good with exact episodes, so reading the other comment it seems its within the last 7 episodes. XD
interesting that on other forums, i’ve seen comments saying it’s “not right” that the crown prince and…
LOL. I'm surprised only a few people picked up on that about Ji Yuan/JiaMin. Anyway people need to understand it was a part of life, and still is in parts of the world, and stop being ridiculous in demanding their current views/values onto other depictions of cultures and times. It's still not considered taboo in many parts of the world (nor in many religious texts, including Christian Bible--though not practiced today).
Finished the novel. It was a good read. But Drama is superior product, imo. The changes make the story much better.
Again, I love this drama in the fact that grievances of those trying to avenge is understood and emphasized with, unlike some other shows where the 'good guys' and lead characters tell people who've had families wiped out to just move on, without ever really trying to understand the aggrieved party's despair and just treating them as villains.
The birthyear of the ML given to the astrologer was 1983, but the police identify him as 26. Come on, man. I know that this was filmed in 2018 and Ming Dao doesn't exactly look old but, jeez. Could've made him in his 30s and the FL a year or two older than 23.
Also, dude the police woman is so annoying and a stupid moron. Not even bothering to question and investigate the actual reason of fight, and just jumping to conclusions and making stupid declarations of conjecture.
On Episode 4. I think I'm giving up. Can't watch this anymore. Car changes from RHD to LHD to RHD, and more stupidity all around. Mostly the police woman is annoying.
I stopped watching this halfway. So can someone please tell me how they explained Yeon Woo's message/signature and his taking away her beer and charcoal. Like, did he just take it because he wanted beer, and just wrote that same message to everyone?
I'm not too sure, but I think it was some sort of fermented milk-based drink. Many fermented drinks like kombucha…
I first thought it had fermented too, but like @fallingslowly88 said he opened his eyes so I assumed he was faking it, and even before his questions and wanting to stay over seemed to be testing her. And then when his eyes opened, I had reached the conclusion he was pretending.
But then confused me is how she flashed back to it with the ice cream when she found out he was intolerant. But then again, it may make sense since she doesn't know he opened his eyes so she would assume something like that, while the reality is that he was faking it.
Just finished the translated novel and ummm. Don't come at me or hate me for saying this but the FL in the novel,…
You're not the only one. I didn't even finish, I think I got to like 6 or 7 chapters. It was really cringe for me. Hoping the drama isn't a true faithful adaptation and adjusts some (many?) things.
I watched this long ago, within a year or two of its airing. It was one of the best dramas I've watched. I don't know how the quality will hold up now, but the characters, relationships, and progression is still top notch and I've always kept it on my list of best dramas I've ever watched.
People don't like the relationship with exes, but this drama is beautiful in the way it deals with it and the conclusion it leads to. There were very thought provoking lines in there--such is the reality. Weird when someone one was everything and then supposed to be nothing.
Sure there may be some plotlines or unneeded things, and it may be dated, but it always stuck with me because of the relationships, especially of the FL.
Adding on to this review a spoiler. The events which lead up to the first climax (goddess' death) could've been expounded a bit more and edited better. I realize they probably had to fit in within the episode count. But unlike others who would rather have some extra time and an episode or two showing happily ever after, I wish they had maybe one or two more episodes to flesh out that part.
