Not really, powerful Xiangliu had the ability to hide his feelings from her. In the novel there was a scene where her heart started beating fast when she was in a clamshell with XL, and he sensed it and his heart started beating fast for a second and she sensed it but he stopped his emotions from being leaked the next moment.

Not much at all and some dialogues are almost word for word because the scriptwriter is the novelist herself! Tong Hua 👏👏👏

She's not mad but she thinks he doesn't want to see her as her parents are divorced and her mum apparently died in a war, then she was sent to train on the Jade Mountain because she was very powerful as a kid. She suspects she is not the King's real daughter and was bombarded with stories that she was illegitimate, other royals say she's not the King's daughter and call her mom a sl*t for cheating on the king.

No he doesn't pursue her and just tries to keep her by his side. After she finds out he likes her she poisons both of them.

My opinion is that it's much harder to be seen as a good actor or actress in China because the dramas are longer and people are so critical of them if they look heavy dancing as ancient beauties or flying around as immortals, or if they can't act as believable modern people. Korean child actors like Seo Shinae are good as children but can't really get as much work as adults, meanwhile Yangzi (who reminds me of her) is following up her child actresss work with equally good work as an adult. Leo Wu, Song Zuer, Angel Zhao, Guan Xiaotong are all the same. In fact the younger generation of child actors are famous for their child acting skills like Zhang Zifeng, Vicky Chen, Rong Zishan, Wang Shengdi or that boy from Joy of Life who are all headed down the actor career route

I don't think Cang Xuan always wants whats best for Xiao Yao. He uses her later to get close to Jing and pushes them together, but once he gets powerful he approves of her getting married with Fenglong even though he
is jealous and knows she doesn't like him because that is one way he can keep her around and she will be in the same situation as him (loveless marriage). Later on when Jing's marriage fails and she gets engaged with him, he does something even more selfish although he knows she will hate it.

Have you watch Bad Kids or Home with Kids? That's very unfair/racist to say they are worse when there are top Cdramas whose main cast are children. Chinese child stars have won awards or grown up to be great actors including Yangzi herself. In fact i would say Leo Wu is a lot more accomplished as a child star than his Korean counterparts because he did a lot of stunts and wire work as a child or teenager in Fight Breaks Sphere and NIF.

don't want to spoil how, but the FL is related to the Shennong Kingdom known for medical knowledge and herbistry (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shennong_Ben_Cao_Jing is famous as a TCM book and Shennong literally means Divine Farmer in Chinese) so her blood has healing properties.

She only said that because she noticed XL was injured and she didn't want Xiangliu getting worse injuries just to save her. After all she was going to meet her dad the King of Haoling and it was not really a life threatening situation.

His scenes got cut presumably because it was boring like his other scenes in that show lol. You really think the director would cut good scenes, TTEOTM was a hit.

In China it's how people see it, because they were relatively unknown before they acted with her. It's like if you act with someone more famous and fans or the public watch a drama for that famous person (of course, then word of mouth starts recommending it because it's a wellmade production due to the investment secured by the lead star) and notice you then support you, then you leveraged off their fame. Put it this way, LYX was too unknown then to be a leading man or secure a big money drama, like Dengwei now. After this role Dengwei will be upgraded to leading ML status due to his new popularity even if it isn't a big budget drama like LYF (unless he acts with a more popular actress as ML) but to him it's totally worth it because he didn't even gain much fame from TTEOTM.

Sad how female users just can't acknowledge the fact that an actress is hardcarrying this drama with investors, advertisors, and her solid acting skills to have chemistry with 3-4 guys in the same show.

How is she coasting? Her acting in Battle of Changsha is really green and annoying but suited the role, it was Kong Sheng and Daylight Ent casting her that helped her grow rather than her being a great actress at that age.

Ashes of Love was her best acting to date due to how clearly she speaks even when crying. LYF is going to be her best acting role because it obviously is more mature than AOL and her cheery character already started out traumatized and bitter which wasn't the case in AOL.
