It appears so, due to world cup qualifiers, they will air back-to-back.https://www.soompi.com/article/1731156wpp/my-dearest-nemesis-to-air-final-two-episodes-back-to-back
Theyâre just misandrists. They want MLs to always stay "pure" while FLs are the only ones allowed to have relationship…
So in just 4 episodes, you concluded that the romance won't be organic at all? Youâre saying this isnât about double standards, but your response contradicts that. You justified Flourished Peony by saying the romance was 'respectful and organic,' yet youâve already dismissed this dramaâs execution without even seeing how it unfolds.
Also, if the concern is purely about ethical and emotional issues, why does it only seem to come up when it's the ML with a past? When FLs have similar backstories, it's framed as mature and nuanced, but when itâs an ML, suddenly itâs âproblematicâ? Thatâs exactly why I pointed out the double standard. Instead of making assumptions this early, why not wait and see how the drama actually handles it?
Howâs the drama, guys? Are there any annoying second leads or a serious love triangle? Are the kisses good? And how are the misunderstandings between the leadsâfrustrating or well-handled?
Why is it okay for FL to be married and have kid but not okay for ML to be married and have a kid???
Theyâre just misandrists. They want MLs to always stay "pure" while FLs are the only ones allowed to have relationship experiences. I didnât see these kinds of comments when Flourished Peony was showing a romance between a divorced FL and ML.
The FL in Jin Wook's body was acting so weird around Jaebom the whole time. At the very least, she shouldnât have done anything inappropriateâthere are boundaries between two men that shouldnât be crossed. She totally took advantage of him just because she liked him, all while hiding behind the excuse of switching bodies.
I donât like those goody-two-shoes types of guys. I donât get why drama makers feel the need to give every male lead endless compassion. Itâs not like it was Dong Jinâs fault that his assaulter went bankrupt. Instead of feeling guilty over nothing, he should have just gotten him arrested.
Everyone has a sad story, but if we start forgiving every criminal just because of their past, society will fall apart. That man wasnât even worthy of being called a manâhe was just blaming someone else for his own poor decisions.
The last 4 episodes made me raise my rating to 9.5 after lowering it during HK episodes. It's a work of art
Same for me. The whole HK storyline and the hasty reunion of the leads left a really bad taste in my mouth and even made me dislike WYF a bit. But the last four episodes did help redeem things to some extent.
Iâm rewatching it right now, and while I still donât like the whole Hong Kong arc or how the leads reconciled afterward, I ended up increasing my rating to 9.5âjust because of the sheer emotions I felt while watching it.
I still think Sang Yan felt too one-dimensional, with his entire world revolving around her. But the raw emotions, their beautiful love story, and the perfect balance of Wen Yifan gaining strength and energy from Sang Yan made me give it a 9.5.
That beautiful wedding alone is making me bump my rating from 9.5 to 10! What a fantastic wedding scene! đ I hope this year brings a wave of weddings in modern Cdramas like this one, just like last year did for Kdramas.
Dramas are for female viewers even Chinese men don't watch romantic dramas ..u have to understand the viewers…
Yeah but still some things can be avoided. Why don't they show harems in male fantasy dramas then. Aren't they made for male gaze so it's apt that they include MLs having multiple partners but why don't they include that.
One thing Iâve realized while watching these dramas is that FLs can openly praise other men in front of MLs, and the MLs are just expected to tolerate it like obedient puppies. But if MLs do the same, FLs get angry, and somehow, itâs the MLs who have to apologize. What a great way to portray feminism, I guess.
