Is Hwa-Young a villain protagonist? Seems like she's the real protagonist and Jang-Mi is the good second FL/heroine. If this was intentional, great. If not... sorry, Eun-Jung-ah 😂

Actually, most Korean daily dramas are at least 100 episodes (or on average), though it depends on the network and ratings.

The first four episodes set up the entire plot, so yes, they are pretty important. Never skip the first few episodes of *any* Korean daily drama lol

Ju Sang-Chul = Nan-Suk's first husband. He was very abusive towards her and often cheated on her, used her for money, and mistreated her. Nan-Suk THOUGHT she killed him after an accident where he fell, but it turned out that Tae-Seok killed him by hitting him with a crowbar at the abandoned warehouse Nan-Suk brought the unconscious Sang-Chul to.

Kong Nan-Suk = Ju Ha-Neul's mother. Well, stepmother, since she says that Ha-Neul was adopted from an affair/one-night-stand that Sang-Chul had. But it's speculated that Nan-Suk is Ha-Neul's real mother.

Ju Young-Chae/Victoria Shin = Nan-Suk's daughter with Mr. Shin, Nan-Suk's second husband. Ha-Neul's adopted/step-sister. Nan-Suk's biological daughter.

I HIGHLY recommend watching earlier episodes to understand the relationships, otherwise you're basically lost without the knowledge of it.

Probably a different person. The baby photo is from 1990, the twins (Jang-Mi & Seo-Rin) were born in 1995. As stated, this child was born before Hwa-Young got famous, and it's been hinted at since episode 19.
