This episode felt ... repetitive. My personal highlights were:Jeongwon baiting Sehoon to "try harder and kill…
Yup, today's episode was pretty much filler. What was Young-chae blackmailing Se-mi with? I'm not sure nor do I remember. I wish Jung-won would quit as the design team leader already... she's the gallery director and has Gunhyang shares ๐ญ
Listen, man... I guess I don't mind Se-Hun's dark turn, it just feels like it came a bit too late. But whatever, the actor's doing a really good job at selling that villainy. CAN SOMEONE *PLEASE* KILL JIN TAE-SEOK? FINISH THE FUCKING JOB ALREADY! And Hye-Ra, you gotta divorce him, that is the only way I might actually start respecting you for real!
I hope both Se-Hun and Young-Chae die as well. Also, I am getting a bit tired of the near deaths, can someone die for real soon? Jung-Won, you may have (somewhat) redeemed yourself (I guess the rooftop throw was her karma), but I do blame you for Se-Hun's dark shift- to an extent, obviously a lot happened, but you are a part of it. I love her, but I gotta be real. Nan-suk standing on business... love it! She cracks me up lmaoooo Lee Seung-Yeon must be having a blast playing her!
Se-Mi seems so sweet, she's just... wildly naive. She's used to being an only child. I get it. Now she has a new unnie to deal with. I cannot WAIT to see Se-Hun's reaction when he finds out that Tae-Seok ain't even his dad ๐ he might actually end himself! And AGAIN with the design theft? Isn't Jung-Won the gallery director?! WHY HASN'T SHE QUIT HER JOB AT THE DESIGN TEAM YET? HELLO???? You don't need to be there anymore! Start flexing on Young-Chae already!
The Swiss slush fund is the new plot device ๐ now when will Jung-Won get her hands on it? Nan-Suk is mad smart and I'll give her her 10s for it. And Manager Gu threatening to quit ๐ their scenes are peak comedy! Also, what did Se-Mi do that Young-Chae is blackmailing her over it for? I forgot lol
That cliffhanger, DAMN! Queen Nan-Suk is not playing around anymore!
I love how they are spinning SH as more evil than the chairman. chef/grandma : "there's an evil inside him…
Because he's an idiot! Young-Chae is too, that's why Jung-Won stole her life and lived it better than she ever could. I hope these 2 snakes (not Jung-Won) go over a cliff together...
Kang-Jae was wildin out 24/7, it was almost hilarious to watch ๐ญ chaos incarnate!I loved Eun-Jae's training…
After being in a coma, too! All hell literally broke loose once Ga-Hun woke up! Her killing Se-rin's dad was... ๐ฎโ๐จ that shit was badass, I can't even lie lmao. I actually felt bad for Se-rin in the end. Wild because I usually don't feel sympathy for most k-drama daily villains. Did Ga-hun get locked up in the end? I thought it was left open-ended since she also had amnesia, too. Either way, that revenge tour... iconic lol
If she does come back, it might be a recast (face surgery? Cloning? Brain chip?!) I don't mind it, but the og actress got fired...
I do like Young and the Restless- I just hate how it drags! ๐ ALL. The. Time. But I mainly blame the writers. They actually did bring back a few Quartermaines/integrate them more (along with the other families) under these new writers. One of the very few things I respect about em. Tracy Quartermaine? Top 5 GH characters for me, and I love seeing her (almost) everyday.
Jason just has a deadbeat problem, I think. He was dipping out on Sam AND Liz. This time around his death was faked or something when a tunnel collapsed on him ๐ whatever. Now he's not around Sonny as much (he has to take care of Britt, after all, and Sonny is with his newest Brenda Bot. Carly and Valentin might be a thing?!), Carly and Sonny are divorced, the only mob stuff is happening in 1 plotline... everything else is about... Drew and Willow! *barf*

SH acts like an overgrown toddler. I can't and I will never take him seriously lol. He is not beating Tae-Seok in his villainy and NEVER will, with the way he gets swayed by every little carrot dangled in front of his goddamn eyes!
Respected. What about Sam? (Also, I'm not a Kristina fan. Never liked Morgan either.) If I had to pick between Sonny and Carly, I'd just go with Carly... depends on the actress a little. If it's the 05 one. Then no. ๐ Sonny is a prick. But I don't watch soaps for perfect/good people. Look at Victor Newman!
Aww, man! ๐ญ New-New Michael has edge. And teeth! (And abs... but that's not the point, okay?!)
It's a daily drama, none of them are original lol. A lot of k-dramas in general aren't original! ๐
Teresa has like 140-150 eps. It's a Mexican telenovela... they are ALWAYS this long ๐
There was a chef in Pink Lipstick that was gay, a hairdresser, and Chef Hong here (A Graceful Liar) was gay... remember he hit on Ha-neul with that smooth pick-up line? Lol. As for trans people, highly doubt it. I only know 1 trans idol and that is Harisu (she isn't very famous.) Holland is gay though, and we're birthday twins lol
I think so? It's % ratings in Seoul + the whole country. Dailies used to consistently be 20% and up in their prime! I'm not sure if worldwide viewers (on apps, too) are counted within this total. That's something I gotta read about ๐ค
Honestly, same. ๐ I'm watching an anime (Death Note) and I have a Filipino teleseryes on hold at the moment. I got too much to catch up on. I'm almost done with Secrets and Lies, so... ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ should help me lol
I definitely agree, but I'm loving how Carly grew (she's not so bitchy anymore) and even Sonny isn't on as much. It's all about the Westbournes and Drew... and Willow. YUCK! Plus they killed off Sam! ๐ญ๐ญ I watch much less than I used to (but I have to say that the new guy playing Michael Corinthos is smokin HOT ๐)

Makjang dramas are on Netflix though, so it's possible that they'll have daily dramas on there (should TV channels choose to do so.) There's Spanish telenovelas, I was like... 30 episodes into Teresa before it was removed lol
Going woke? A few gay characters here and there. S. Korea is too conservative and people don't watch dailies the way they used to. ๐ Daily dramas haven't hit 15% since Vengeance of the Bride was on!

Ironically a lot of people complain that daily dramas (especially revenge/makjang or darker ones) are all the same, but I've been watching them for a while. The set-ups may be repetitive (Temptation of Wife was essentially the blueprint for modern daily revenge dramas), but the plots? Anything but! Definitely a lot of overused tropes though.

Please keep Jung-Won's ex gone! He's not needed and I hate his face! Lmao
