I mean, she does... Ripley syndrome is considered a sign of sociopathy.
Definitely hated the husband, but he was more complex than you'd think. Won't spoil it, but it got a lot better in the second half. And less boring by like, episode 4-ish.
Ironically she was in Mysterious Personal Shopper, Vengeance of the Bride, and The Promise. All of those dramas were better than those 2 we mentioned lol
Young-Chae has every right to be scared of her. I don't think Chairman Two-Face or Hye-Ra are. Jung-Won can take her on if she has enough determination.
As for me? Shoot, I think me and Nan-Suk would get along. Absurd is a better description for her lol

You know what? Valid lol
BECAUSEEEEE a lot of k-drama fans be sexist/misogynistic. Unfortunately. I know you're not (you keep it real... mainly ๐), but it's INCREDIBLY common. K-drama writing only makes this shit worse. There's plenty of female characters I hated/disliked. Some just take it too far... a lot of the time. No biggie, but when every k-drama I've watched has this pattern (even non-makjangs...) ๐คจ
I think some unlikeable characters have redeeming qualities. but that doesn't determine whether you like em or not. I guess it's more of a preference/actor combo. If I like the actor and I think they're doing a great job, I'm more inclined to like their character even if they're hateable. Others, I just love to hate. But I'm rambling on so...
I'm on Jung-Won's side. But I'm also willing to drop her like a hot potato... like this week ๐ and I can call her out for being reckless and impulsive. But I understand why she is the way she is. I think she's complex, like her mom... they're incredibly similar. Hmm ๐ค
One thing she has in her favor is everyone against her are not exactly allies to each other. They have their own…
Oh yeah. This is something I hate in k-dramas in general. JW seems to be okay with having allies, which I like. I mean, FLs being independent is fine, but damn, let them have a team or work with someone!
Another pet peeve of mine is when the FL barely does any work to get revenge or is written as incapable of doing so despite constantly vowing to... so annoying... and beyond dumb.
Highly recommend these ones btw. They're good.
It was a terrible decision but I somehow finished it (with no memory of what actually happened!) I do not plan on revisiting it... maybe ๐

New nickname unlocked: Mrs. Thug!

Same thing happened to me with Fatal Promise!
