She's not stupid to me, just impulsive and reckless. BIG difference between recklessness and stupidity. She's been quite crafty, especially in the first half.

Yeah, a lot of people mix this up, don't worry, you're NOT the first one. I thought the same thing when I first watched it back in 2018! I actually enjoy it more now, because the good 2nd FL is very, VERY lackluster.

I loved JW in the first half. She's still holding her own, but I'd rather have her stay grey/an anti-heroine than the writer trying to make this righteous heroine. They'd better not do her like Gemma Kim in Red Shoes (SFL in that drama.) Couldn't stand Gemma.

Let's say that she has talent. What was the reason for her stealing JW's designs back in high school, then? She got in USING them, the show made that clear.

In the new episode, admittedly no, I was thinking about older episodes.

Biggest problem with the show is that they're trying to make JW good (at least right now.) She CAN'T be, there's too many antagonists and minor/major villains around her. She doesn't need to be a full villain, but I'd love to see her be more of an anti-heroine... take some power of her own. Be ruthless.

The "antagonist" IS the protagonist. She's a villain protagonist. Look at the other posters for this drama lmao

The baby is biologically related to the Mas (it IS Dong-Seok's daughter), but she's not related to Hwa-Young.

How are you liking Secret House so far? I enjoyed it, it was quite dark for a daily drama.

Hae-In's adoptive mom was at least tolerable lol I feel like Suk-Hee might die though.

LOVE Seo-Rin so far. Neutral on Jang-Mi. I like Hwa-Young too. What's with Hwa-Young in daily dramas being villains? 😭

I guess I could view it as karma for JW's more "villainous" actions in the first half + an obligatory downfall arc (as I like to call it.) I'll just step back and read recaps for now and watch the previews.

I usually dislike meet cutes in daily dramas, but I hope this one goes well. Between the twins, I love Seo-Rin more for sure, but my fave is Hwa-Young right now.

I'm also a Nan-Suk shooter, so I can't disagree. Also to me... Jung-Won is becoming dull? Not stupid, but kinda boring... I loved her when she was morally grey/semi-evil...

Plenty of Korean dramas have killed off their main characters before. That was a big thing in 2000s dramas (especially melodramas, which were extremely popular.) Even more modern dramas have done it and still do.
