I think JW is holding her own right now and far from stupid.
Same, also she wasn't introduced as stupid either. Again with people complaining about never having "strong" FLs in daily dramas, then when they get one (or anything other than a saccharine, foolish heroine), they pick them apart. JW is fine.
Great legendary actors and actresses Interesting storylines but wait for the shitty ending like TWWSTS. OMFG,…
Identical twins/revenge plots have been done before, like The Promise, Wife Returns, Resurrection, etc... unless you're suggesting a face swap like they did in Ruby Ring with the fraternal twins? Lmao
thought i found an old x old daily but once again it carries on to stupid next gen's.
If you want an "old x old" daily, I recommend Gracious Revenge, all the main characters were older. Also there's been daily dramas with older protagonists, a lot of k-drama fans are just ageist lol
First episode: My theory about who the "First Man" is seems to be right the first man -> Ma Dongseok,…
I definitely like Hwayoung so far right now. The premise is... interesting? I don't understand what you mean by the exposition/premise part, but I agree with everything else.
I still think Jina (redhead snake) is gonna die. Se-mi is another option. The chairman is the final boss, so he…
Same!
Semi's death MIGHT be a twist death. But I don't see it happening, it was just a wild guess.
Nan-Suk is definitely not the final boss, Tae-Seok is basically the architect of all chaos in this show lol and after today's episode? Yeah, he'll be the last villain standing.
Se-Hun seems more like a tragic minor villain. He could die too. But I can see him turning dark for some time, then dying later on.
Hye-Ra dying is still a possibility, but IF this show has a happy ending, she & Jung-Won will reunite, if not, her dying... maybe, maybe not. 50/50 chance with her.
I don't think Mi-Hyang is related to Secretary Hwang, that's already been confirmed as Mi-Su. Secretary's more likely to redeem himself, though. Nan-Suk is 100% going to prison lol but Young-Chae could die. Either her offing herself, a tragic accident, a sacrifice, or pure karma. 💀
Not a lot of people are watching this drama. Also, Queen's House had much more lol
Fair, I feel like the part where the chairwoman got amnesia(?) was unnecessary. Also I did not care for the Eun-Chong subplot at all lol
One thing consistent about this drama is definitely the pacing, for sure. And the twists, but even now, things are getting a little tropey and it's making me slightly bored. I'm still mostly enjoying this show even if I have to skip scenes.
Good for you! The new MBC daily is fine so far, but I'd definitely say to focus on this one! 😂
Not a lot of people are watching this drama. Also, Queen's House had much more lol
In daily dramas, there have been child deaths before (it happened in The Promise, Unknown Woman, Man In A Veil, and a few others), QH just made it so sudden- as it usually is. Like I said, I like that the characters in this daily are ambiguous. It feels a bit more unique. The characters in Queen's House were grey too, but you knew who the villains were. I can tell who the villains are in AGL too. Really intriguing to see how this will all end.
I liked the first episode. Could've been a little better, but it's fine. Suk-Hee is annoying, sorry not sorry. Couldn't you have just gone and asked Dong-Seok directly himself? Now he's vanished in this tragic accident- I don't think he's dead, though. I expect him to turn up with a European/American identity somehow. 😂 I watch too many makjangs! The only character I really like so far is Chae Hwa-Young, and that's because I like how ambitious she is. (I like Oh Hyun-Kyung too, but that's different... lol.) She's ruthless but I can still root for her... for now. I like villain FLs I guess, so bring it on!
I see where this is going. 1. I think Hwa-young's chauffeur (Kang-Hyuk) is the dad of her (now dead) baby. 2. Hwa-young will steal one of the twins (who will be Ma Seo-Rin.) 3. Suk-Hee is gonna be in an accident/lose her memory or nearly die somehow, and she'll be left with Jang-Mi, or Jang-Mi will be an orphan. As for the directing/cinematography... these daily dramas are stepping their game up, they look better than some soap operas I've seen here in the US! Whoever's giving higher budgets to these dailies deserves a toast, because this looks as good as a weekend drama.
7/10 for episode 1. Looking forward to the rest of this week's episodes too.
Is this haneul on some drugs??? Ns treated him nicely yet he is sobbing n hating her over abusive father. If she…
This was how I felt about the SFL (Jin-Ah/Gemma) in Red Shoes lol. Why are you so hellbent on revenge for your trash abusive ass father? But I like that NS actually *does* love HN to an extent, she's just... a selfish and greedy person. But even she's struggled a lot/before.
I continue to watch but I’m just watching characters do things. I’m not really invested in who’s winning…
Understandable. For me, I don't like it when k-dramas are black-and-white, all the characters being grey makes it more interesting for me (and a little more realistic.)
Remember... hyera had a car accident... she didnt know her husband was that type of a man..
I get that you hate her, but she didn't. (At first, in the past.) Let's not ignore the plot! Also, he's definitely emotionally abusing her (the stalking, gaslighting, manipulation- it's obvious to see lol.) She's still complicit, though, but she is a victim.
Soooo whos the next casualty on the show if there is one lolNo idea when itll be ... but my early candidates areHye…
I still think Jina (redhead snake) is gonna die. Se-mi is another option. The chairman is the final boss, so he probably won't die/be punished till the end. Se-hun might sacrifice himself for Jung-won in the final quarter of the show, Hye-ra could die too. Chairman's secretary could die as well. Nan-suk may stay alive and be punished harshly (maybe Young-chae dies as a result of her actions or as a form of karma?)
Semi's death MIGHT be a twist death. But I don't see it happening, it was just a wild guess.

2nd FL = Chae Hwa-Young
3rd FL = Jin Hong-Ju
ML = Kang Baek-Ho
2nd ML = Kang Jun-Ho
Hope I got this right? Also, I love that Jung Chan is in this drama, I really missed seeing him.
