Love this show so much - just somewhat annoyed with the chemistry of the "bromance" (teasing a romantic relationship by different actions, and for anyone who doesn't agree - imagine, if either the "devil" prosecutor and the young prosecutor was a heterosexual pairing - then everyone would be expecting it) as as a high-budget project they will not deliver anything on that front. With the cinematography etc. there is almost a sexual tension happening... while the chemistry with any of the main female characters is nonexistent [is this a 'Chinese bromance'? - adaptation from a BL that has to pass censorship or is it queer-baiting].
Despite this dissonance, I love the drama so much - the acting and storyline are phenomenal. Also, I love Ji Sung so much.
=> keep watching!

I finished this today and I can tell that I'm gonna miss this show so much on Mondays and Tuesdays from now on.…
Yes but I also liked that they didn't - He had decided not to date anyone - so did it matter who he liked.

Why does everyone complain about the drama being too short?! I LOVED THAT IT WAS SHORT!I’m so sick of dragged…
It was short but the perfect length for the storyline, therefore, it the perfect length. :)
On At a Distance, Spring Is Green Jul 22, 2021
The drama was very good and showed many realities for young people - my university life was definitely not a romantic breeze. I didn't like the romance though - there was very little chemistry between the characters and it was the least interesting part of the drama - it was there seemingly only so that no one thinks this is a BL and these are "normal" people. Really hate that type of 'hetero-signalling'.
In the beginning there was some attempt to show the difficulties of Kim So Bin studying etc. but that was quickly abandoned and she was morphed into the girlfriend character - whose scenes always revolved around Jun or thinking, etc. of Jun or being saved by Jun. There was no real attention to her realisation in university - study, work for the professors. It was a great disservice to her character.
Also, the assault... what was with the scene of Chun Guk apologising in front of the whole class - why should a victim be forced to forgive their attacker out of embarrassment of being the center of attentions (which she has a PTSD about) or social pressure to be a "good woman" (who is a care-giver by heart). I think that whole storyline was botched. It was not properly shown how he was punished or his reform - he just showed up, made a spectacle and everything was forgotten...And it was annoying Chun Guk apologised to Jun for attacking So Bin - what does his forgiveness have to do with anything about that situation, except if he apologised for beating him up.
Space for improvement but a lot in the right direction. I loved that not everyone was in a romantic relationship by the end of the series - sometimes one just doesn't have the energy for a relationship depending on different things...and that's okay too.

Loved Vincenzo so much. Was annoyed with some storyline decisions but overall was a success for me. I enjoyed how dark it was - somewhat unusual for kdramas, which would set up a dark premise but will lighten the drama for the romance, which would destroy the initial set up and the romance will be very awkwardly woven. Now it was on point.
Acting was exceptional by everyone and production and everything was spot on.

Want to watch this but since Descendants of the Sun, I can't take any Song Joong Ki drama seriously. T_T I mean…
Thats why I watched only first several episodes of Descendants of the sun because it was too much "over-acting" with weird scenes and no chemistry of the main couple. Loved Vincenzo though.

A point may be that some "monsters" are cultivated by themselves and some are created by society - the people who "fall though the cracks" and later want their revenge. Though his life there are many instances where Sigma's life may have gone in another direction. In the last episodes we see that he is ready to start yet again after finding the officer's notebook. Therefore, this late while help may alleviate some anger and hatred it may be too late to have a lasting effect and only delays his villainy. However, during his childhood there must have been countless opportunities to turn the tide and people missed it.

True, now that I think on another note - hope this drama helps dispel some of the taboo nature of tattoos for people in the audience.

Okay but why would a tattoo artist want to do a medical doctorate, which takes at least 4-5 years (in my country), if not more (I don't know ho many in Korea) just to open a tattoo parlour. This is an unreasonable barrier to entry. It has nothing to do with the artistry of the profession or the craft of tattooing an image on human skin.

The whole "romance" is carried on the acting and chemistry of Ji Chang Wook and Song Yoon Ah. They had better chemistry than the actual couple. The whole drama has seasoned and amazing actors so it was a surprise I hated it so much. Im Yoon Ah's acting was stilted and made me cringe in every scene I was watching with her. Her acting and the sometimes cartoonish fight scenes where it's visible they are "air-hitting" each other were unbelievable.

Could've been on the arm, or the torso, but a butterfly on the back of the neck? Not trying to tattoo-shame, but…
Just looks plain weird for a tattoo. Also, don't really believe a man/woman in Korea will get a tattoo in such an obvious place, if it's their only tattoo - this is a country where tattooing is illegal unless you are a medical doctor....

I don't know...I am a little tired of the premise - older guy with nothing to show for it and an innocent young woman get together despite their families and society and she becomes "crazy" when he gets bored with her.
I would think this is the fantasy of old men, while in reality, such a guy is a sexual harasser and people don't believe the victims - which is rarely shown is cinema and maybe many people believe that such consensual relationships are almost the norm when it's the opposite.
And really how consensual is it, when a much older person basically tricks a young, ignorant one into a sexual relationship...

Ahhh got so angry after watching episode 9! First offence! Even without the murder how can he be released after breaking into someone's house and assaulting them - he didn't kill her because of luck on her side.
Such terrible death for the neighbour from 702 - wanting to help but dying herself and then - people not caring because "she is a person who drinks alcohol" almost like she "brought it on herself"...it is so heartbreaking.
So terrifying in that kind of situation one when one might be stabbed (in the elevator) must fight despite the fear of death because that is the best and probably last chance to survive - before being lead to some place with no one to hear or see anything.

I feel you.Leaving him there and going to Cha Young,I wanted to punch him so bad.But just watch the last episode, you'll…
I think, he may have also thought that he was already dead. But still the scene didn't feel natural with the fact that Vincenzo didn't go to him after getting back from the balcony without checking on Han Seo as it was already somewhat "established" Hong Cha Young was not in danger to die?
