From which movie is the picture with 2 children and pink wall underneath?
I think it's from the drama, On Children.

I highly recommend The Legend of the Condor Heroes (1983) to anyone who's interested in wuxia. It's the quintessential…
I thought the 1983 version had great acting, although I'm not exactly new to wuxia (I've seen about 30-40 wuxia movies).

The version that I watched actually had two audio tracks, Cantonese and Mandarin, so you can watch it in Mandarin if you want. But for people who don't know Mandarin, the language doesn't really matter.

For anyone who's looking for more recommendations, I compiled a list of the highest rated wuxia dramas on Douban…
I highly recommend The Legend of the Condor Heroes (1983) to anyone who's interested in wuxia. It's the quintessential wuxia story, and very influential.

Nirvana in Fire is great too, but it's not a pure wuxia story in the way that Condor Heroes is.

It's sad to see the actors, crew members' hard work going in vain just because of scriptwriting negligence !!…
I hope those scriptwriters learn their lesson! Next time they'll think twice before writing a fictional story.

While they're at it, they should also cancel "You Who Came From the Stars" for its inaccurate portrayal of aliens, and "Six Flying Dragons" for its inaccurate portrayal of dragons.

There's a disclaimer at the beginning of each episode: "This drama is fiction." I assume that most of the Koreans…
They used real names. But it shouldn't matter, since they clearly said that it's fictional. Unfortunately some Koreans can't tell the difference between fantasy and reality.

The popular play/movie Hamilton had a lot of inaccuracies too, and it didn't get cancelled, although some people wanted it to get cancelled. I guess every country has some stupid people who like to ruin things for everyone else.

Did they forget to put up a warning saying "All characters, names and stories etc. are fictional" or something?…
There's a disclaimer at the beginning of each episode: "This drama is fiction." I assume that most of the Koreans who signed the petition haven't watched it, so they wouldn't have seen the disclaimer.

Thank you for the article. Looking forward to the next installment. It is especially significant since in 1910…
The Japanese movie The Human Condition (1959) has Chinese comfort women in it (great movie, I highly recommend it).

If you're asking about movies that were made in the 1910s, then I'm not sure.

Hong Kong dramas in the late 1980s and 1990s had Wuxia but after year 2000, they no longer or rarely make them…
What are your favorite HK wuxia dramas? I'm in the middle of watching The Legend of the Condor Heroes (1983), and I like it, so I'm looking for more wuxia to add to my watchlist.

I'm in the middle of watching The Legend of the Condor Heroes (1983) and it's great. It's the highest rated HK drama on MDL, and I think it's a good introduction for anyone who wants to get into wuxia dramas.

I've also seen The Bund (1980), which I liked as well. It stars Chow Yun Fat, and this was the role that made him famous.

Thanks for the guide. She's a good actress.

My favorite Doona Bae film is Barking Dogs Never Bite. I also liked her in Linda Linda Linda and The Host.
