That scene of Mei Lin hallucinating and picturing her parents was very touching. And in that monent Murong Jin really seeing the additional damage he has done to her by raising her as his personal suicide killing machine... Now there's additional complications because of the poison. I wonder how Murong Jin is going to solve this one...
Though they are toxic together, these are two tortured souls bearing the weight of the world on their shoulders. Like Mein Lin said, they can't die until they've accomplished their mission of revenge. Only then do they have the right to die.
I'm really enjoying the storytelling so far. I love that they are taking their time expertly revealing important things that will push the story forward, while quickly revealing other small things. It all adds to the overall mystery. Things are about to get interesting, since they are now working "together." It will be even more fun when she finds out... They will definitely kill eachother then๐
These two people are always trying to kill eachother or one of them is kissing the other or biting the other๐๐ญReal enemies to lovers here... very toxic, very chaotic, very crazy. ๐
The way he didn't even hesitate to try and (***) her when he thought she found out he's the head of the assassin group??? Lol he and that damn bow and arrow... very crazy indeed.๐
It will be quite interesting when she finds out the truth... They just might fight to death. I'm enjoying their relationship dynamic. It will be quite interesting to see how their relationship plays out. Who's going to win this game of cat and mouse, and of deceit?? I don't even know who to root for right now cause they are both so good๐
Ep 4 and 5 was fun to watch. We are learning a little bit more about the people around them and of what really happened 10yrs ago.
Edit: Due to what was revealed about her health, it now makes sense why he was carrying her corpse in the trailer ๐ญ
Hopefully this wonโt take 20 episodes to reveal that heโs the master of assassinโs Creed and innocent of…
Ep 1-3 already revealed that he's innocent. She figured it out in ep 3. Lol however, she doesn't know he's the head of the assassin group. They tried to kill eachother again in ep 5 cause he thought she figured it out..๐
Not really. In MJTY, ML didn't know that FL was an assassin in the beginning.
In this, ML actually trained FL as an assassin to kill him (ML) FL doesn't know that he's the head of the shadow group that trained her for a decade. He poisons FL everytime she fails to kill him.
Lol he's crazy, she's crazy. They are always trying to kill eachother. Very toxic, those two๐๐ญ
Loved first 3 episodes but I think he should've been the killer killer not goody guy, Wanted something different…
Lol exactly. He's definitely a bad guy. I think some people were expecting the worse kind. I'm glad they are not taking it too far cause it would be unbearable to watch.

Oh but he is a bad guy. Lol just wait and see.
Just not a mass murderer. I'm glad he's not, cause that's too much of a heavy load to bear... I don't know how cdrama writers would have made that pass censorship. Especially as he's the ML...
I see a lot of people saying they don't like the fact that "everything" (he's not a mass murder, he's the master, etc) is revealed in the first 3 episodes because there's no mystery anymore. I disagree.. I think there's A LOT of mystery left. Here's why:
All the info they just revealed are necessary to be revealed at this time, in order to tell the REAL/MAIN story: The investigation into the past and the dynamics (love, hate) relationship between the FL & ML now that they will be working "together". Don't forget, she's still his pawn without her knowing. There's SO MUCH to explore with their relationship. Not only that, there's much more to explore with the brothers relationship, ML relationship to his dad, and the kingdom. (Everyone sees him as a mass murderer). Remember these fractured relationships are what made the ML the type of person he is today (anti-hero).
So, it's right that the story got the trival matters and misunderstanding out of the way instead of dragging it, so it doesn't clutter the drama and bug the story down. I actually like that they are not following the usual formula of wasting time on misunderstandings.
But I understand where you guys are coming from. Most people aren't used to this cause we are so used to long drawn out cdramas that we don't know how to react when there's a straight forward story from the beginning ๐

Exactly everything you said!!
It's so much left to explore, I'm glad they got these trival matters out of the way first. So it doesn't clutter the drama.
Lol but people aren't used to this cause we are so used to long frawn out cdramas that we don't know how to react when there's a straight forward story๐
Wtf did I just watch? 3 eps in and we got the whole plot! I just hope it keeps it up bc it looks promising. Also,…
I actually like that they are not following the usual formula of wasting time on misunderstandings. I'm glad we the audience found out he's the "master" and she finds out he's not the mass murderer.
Now we get to explore their dynamic more. The story is all about the love hate relationship between them and how that manifests.
I'm going to start with this: there's a reason why this show has a 8.9 on MDL. The story is that good and intriguing.…
Lol oh trust girl, you will definitely get butterflies in your stomach while watching them interact.
Here's one of their interactions that got the internet exploding. There's many more of these. That's why it's usually described as a "sensual" show. There isn't "romance" like you will see in most cdramas but when they are together, it was mature, and sensual and beautiful to watch

They are in the sweet spot right now.

He is supposed to be crazy. I'm glad they are letting him be crazy. Even though he's an anti hero, it's too soon for him to be playing "hero" ๐
He's such a hilariously crazy person ๐ญ
Lol yall need to give yourselves time to let things sink in before making a quick judgement. Give things a chance...๐
