Yea, I like LMT character too. Other than some parts in the middle I had a problem with, she's a nicely written character.

If you haven't already, you should watch A Journey To Love. The FL in there is one of the smartest, intelligent, and strongest character ever written. She was the same till the end. She's actually bad azz, (lol kills with a leaf) not just "pretend strong" Itbwas gratifying to watch her on screen.

Also, the FL from The Double is one of my favorite. Though not strong in martial arts like LMT and Lui Rui Ning (A Journey To Love) but quite intelligent. The story is amazing too.

If I may ask, what type of ending were you hoping for?

But it will be very satisfying. And a little spoiler, this is one show where we didn't have to wait till the end to know that the couple is happy together. It happens in ep 31. Be patient and keep enjoying the ride!

Lol no divorce for our couple after getting that marriage certificate. Their wedding is even more beautiful. You will be smiling like a fool😭

I did pity her in that scene she was talking to CXZ. She really was caged in her mothers dreams and regret. I grew a little respect for her when she finally stood up to her mother and found the right way. It was a good way to end her character arc

They were fake married for a year or so. She gains her memory in ep 17

Lol it seems I've found my people!!! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who finds ChuiChui ANNOYING. I haven't liked her since the marriage day of FL. She's just full of bad ideas and act like a 10 year old😭

For Chrissake, she's a secretary in the Ministry of Justice. She needs to start acting like it.😭

They got their marriage certificate in episode 32. They had a wedding ceremony in episode 36. It was a really beautiful ceremony.

I think it may be due to the latest episodes being a little stale and boring.

No, there's a male king, but he's a child. The child is the one next in line for the throne. (He's the late emperor's son) So the empress dowager is ruling in his stead.

The other siblings (the late emperor's siblings) are not the ones next in line, though they are fighting for the throne.

They may say it ends tomorrow cause maybe express (the last 4 eps) will be out tomorrow.

So for many people, it ends tomorrow. But for those who can't afford express, it ends on the usual schedule.

Oh that annoyed me too. But don't know if you've caught up with the latest episodes, she comes to her senses (ep 33-36).

Before I watched those episodes, I was thinking, no wonder her husband took so many concubines. She's too naive and don't know what's good for her😭

Just finished catching up to ep 14. So far so good, it's okay. I really ENJOYED the first 7 episodes. It had enough mystery and tension. But the ones after that have been a hit or miss for me. It feels like the story has become a little stale? It's still watchable though!

The relationship the ML and FL were building together was nice in the beginning. Slowly and steadily without the insertion of third parties. It was fun to watch. But then everything changed. Now third parties are included just so we can see ML or FL jealous so they realize they love eachother. So unnecessary🙄 It doesn't create tension at all, but add unnecessary annoying misunderstanding.

We already have the FL misunderstanding the ML past, and the ML not remembering their childhood, that's enough tension already. That alone is enough to explore. Why the added need for triangles? For once I want to watch a c-drama where the FL and ML just build a relationship slowly by themselves without third parties involvement.

Is it just me, or are they making the FL impulsive and dumbing her down? I really enjoyed the reasonable and quick thinking FL in the beginning. But as the story progress, it seems like they are dumbing her down a little just to create tension?

Anyways, hope the next episodes picks up again and become interesting once more.

I don't think they were "forgiven" per say. It's just that no major consequences were given to them. IMO, I liked how the drama went about it. They are ostracized from the family. Not loudly, but still gone.

Lol I did kinda feel bad for binglan at the end. She really was a misguided soul stuck in her mom's regret.

So I'm glad she had a wakeup call and let go of her mom. That was a nice ending for both of them.

Lol I guess if you really think about it, we've seen all that when they were married before 🤭😭

So I guess the writers just figured we should be satisfied by now😭

Yes, they've met before. That's why in like ep 2 or so, she asked him, "Don't you remember me" or something like that. Even though everyone thought ML is bad she didn't used to think so. Lol until she actually married him. Before then, she had kinda put him on a pedestal because of their childhood meet

Remeber, she also had visions of their childhood when that lady was trying to kill her in ep 6, I think?
