Have you seen how crazy and stalkerish some Chinese netizens act??? Once they get their eyes on an actor as the next "handsome thing" they act like they are married to that actor. They start acting like they own the actor.

So, if what you said is true, that he's going through lengths to hide his body? then I say GOOD FOR HIM!! I fully support that. It's his body and no one has rights to it (acting or no acting).

It's already hard being an actor in China cause they are always walking a thightrope. So no need to add needless obsessed fans to the stress.🤷🏿‍♀️

I was thinking the same thing. This role reminds me so much of Master of My Own. It got kind of the same concept, but different plot and vibe!

The first show I saw of her was Under The Power. But I wasn't completely sold until I watched the show I just mentioned. Then I went on a watching spree of all her shows. Below is a list of ones I really loved

Flight To You: (Really good and interesting show about China's airline systems and pilots).
Master of My Own: (The ML is a bit on the rude side, but he's quite lovable and funny 😂).
The Fox's Summer: quite funny. (This is an old show, so be prepared for the c-drama style of overusing flashbacks 😭)
Go Ahead: (Though this is not my style, I've heard people say really good things about it).
Road Home: (though I haven't finished this cause I got really busy and forgot about it, it was good where I left it)

If you watch nothing else from this list, try to atleast watch The Sword and the Brocade. I promise, you won't be disappointed. Then you can watch Flight To You

Please, lets be for real now. I mean, at this point, the ML not believing in her is DIFFERENT than her *actual* boyfriend not believing in her. This is someone she's going to marry and buy a house with. Not just a random stranger off the street making a snide comment. HE IS HER BOYFRIEND. He's supposed to be supportive and not make rude remarks to others about her dreams.

The ML not believing in her at this point is right because he's looking at it from an investors perspective. They are not dating and do not owe eachother any type of emotional loyalty. But still he helps her come up with better ways.

No matter how you look at this, her boyfriend is wrong for making that type of remark to the friend.

Anyways, I don't think that will be *the* reason they breakup. A lot is happening so let's wait and see

Sadly, he doesn't really believe in her dream. He told the friend( this friend secretly likes him btw) that he's just supporting her because he's waiting for her to hit a road block and realize she can't really accomplish her dream. (He's secretly waiting for this). Ji Xing heard this convo, but didn't say anything to him. She just gave him back his bank card. 😭

I'm actually waiting to see how Ji Xing friend will try to get with her boyfriend. Lol it's bound to be messy.

Exactly why I ignore and fast forward all his scenes. Just like his brother, he's annoying and delusional. He's ALWAYS giving SRQ bad advice. It's getting tiring 😭

I agree with your analysis about her past relationship with SRQ. That's why I'm trying my best to understand where she's coming from and give her grace. I have been giving her grace and supporting her since ep 1. But damn...

And I think what's also annoying most people is how LR allows others to comment on her relationship with PWX without saying anything. Lol she just need to be a bit more deceive about her relationship. If she want PWX, stay with him. If she wants SRQ, then go to him. I will respect whatever decision she makes, but not this push and pull 😭

Lol I am probably one of those sucking the joy out of the show today. Lol sorry, the direction of the show is just getting a little irritating. But I still love LR and I'm still holding out hope for my girl!

Personally, I'm still rooting for and supporting her. She's still an amazing character. Especially when it comes to dealing with injustice.

I'm just irritated by her lack of indecisiveness when it comes to her relationship. I also don't like how she lets others make snide remarks about her relationship/ PWX without correcting them. It's getting annoying.

But I will continue to root for her and hope she makes the right choice soon😭

Ep 18 and 19 were frustrating not only because of SRQ, but also because of LR indecisiveness. Lol but I'm still holding out hope for her!

Just finished the latest episodes and I gotta say while I enjoyed it, I'm a bit disappointed in LR.

Though I understand where she's coming from (her past relationship with SRQ in previous life) It shouldn't be that hard for her to see that he's not the one for her in this life. Like he's shown so many times, through conversation and actions, that they are not on the same path, but she always just stand there mesmerized instead of telling him to stop his foolishness. So see, while I blame SRQ for his audacity, I blame LR MORE cause she's the one making him feel special and giving him that audacity by not being clear. I AM TIRED of this push and pull. Sigh...

Another character that has been annoying me since they first appeared is Shangguan Ya. I thought it was something that would pass, but previous episodes have solidified that she is indeed ANNOYING. She's very tactless and thinks she's funny by always commenting and making snide remarks on the relationship between LR &PWX. What the hell give her the right to even make such comments? Again LR holds the blame for this. She allows anyone and everyone to have a say about her relationship with PWX without correcting them. So of course they will mock her husband.

I am really not liking her indecision and lack of affection towards PWX. It's getting frustrating. Judging by the previews of the next episodes, it looks like she's going to break his heart more.

Anways, I'm still rooting for her to come to her senses soon!!

Well, I think it started from that miscommunication, when the husband refused to clarify his relationship with SY. Resentment build up, then they grew apart, and started working against eachother. Because they were working against eachother is why it was so easy for others to deceive them.

Her attachment to SRQ makes a little sense because for 20yrs he was her companion. He gave her what her husband refused to give her. She's still trying to figure out her feelings for her husband in this lifetime. So might be a little confused right now.

Bit I think she's almost there. Cause she's realizing that her and SRQ are not the same people like she thought.
