I think it's because the FL is still hurt about how the ML mislead her to believe that he was in love with QZZ in their past life. She was very in love with him in the past life, until the whole QZZ situation which the ML never clarified then. Thats what's drove her towards SRQ. It was 20 years of hurt, loneliness, and bitterness.
So now that the ML has clarified things in this life and basically confess his feelings in a roundabout way, she's unsure about how to handle it. I'm so glad the show is taking it's time developing the relationship between LR and PWX slowly. . Based on their past, it makes sense for the relationship not to be rushed. It's developing quite nicely.
The fight between LR and the Pei family was amazing to see. Esp when they were kneeling infront of the imperial study. The battle of wills was awesome.😂 The princess definitely won that round. I'm so glad our princess is the most bad azz princess willing to fight anyone and EVERYONE who dares to harm her man. Cause the only time she "bullied" him was when she made him go in the water, which was ep 2. That was it. The very next episode they worked it out. They have straightened out thier differences and are now working together and she's the one supporting the ML in every aspect (giving him money, etc).
They have a playful banter relationship and are just right for eachother.
But even if she bullied him, based on how he treated her in their past life, it made sense that she is bitter and out for revenge. Are women not allowed to feel bitter? There were A LOT of misunderstanding between them in the past life because ML wouldn't communicate properly.
I don't like how most of yall on here are judging the FL so harshly without even trying to understand her pov. Yall never give "unconventional" FL a chance.
Sometimes I think people need to give shows a chance to settle in before judging the characters so harshly.

The problem is, people don't give stories a chance to settle and find its footing. If the story doesn't resonate with them after 2 episodes, they leave a bad review. (Not fair to the show).
I think to make it fair, MDL should fix their site so that watchers can't rate a show until 15 episodes in. That's when most shows usually settle in.
