I had hoped they would have showed us LR undeniably rejecting the delusional man without her knowing PWX is alive.

I believe it was a mistake for production not to do so. Instead of clarifying things, they are trying their best to create unnecessary angst that's not needed.

I hope it get clarified next episodes cause I'm tired of the back and forth/push and pull.

If SRQ is the villain, they need to allow him to get into his villainous ways without trying to tie "romantic" feelings to it. Because he is not doing anything for love but rather for his family. So hurry up and embrace his villain ways already 🙄

Lol I was able to stay up and watch the new episodes. I enjoyed them both!!

I see a lot of people calling ep 16&17 filler episodes. However, that's wrong. A filler episode is when nothing, absolutely nothing happens to drive the plot forward. HOWEVER, that's NOT the case with these two episodes. It might have not been what some were expecting (lol I don't know what yall were expecting) but A LOT happened that drove the plot forward.

We get more revelation about the dynamics for many relationships (LR&Emperor, LR&Empress, Empress &Emperor, LR& PWX, LR& SRQ, the crown prince& Noble Families, etc). We got to see how all these relationships interact and the role the noble families play in the grand scheme of things. These two episodes truly developed the characters and expanded on their ultimate motives(Good or bad).

Best of all, we truly got to see LR actual feelings for PWX. Her undenying belief in him. I know these two episodes didn't show it, but I don't think she would have agreed to SRQ delusional request. Even if she hadn't gotten the news abt PWX being alive, I believe she wouldn't have agreed because she has realized they are not on the same path. She's fully in love with her husband and ready to embrace him.

Though these episodes were a little slow, they pushed the stakes of the show forward. It highlighted and set the stage for SO MANY things that will happen going forward. So, everyone, these are DEFINITELY NOT filler episodes. They are characters driven episodes.

I'm excited for the next two. We really get to see our favorite couple live their family life!!! Okay, off to bed I go. See yall in the morning!

Me too, the first time I saw Lusi was in Who Rules the World. I loved jer acting so much that I went on a watching spree of all her shows. After Who Rules The World, another favorite show of hers is LLTG. She was amazing in it

Me too!! I rewatched ep 14 and 15 again. I kept rewind the part where she slapped the uncle (that whole scene) again and again and again. Lol it was just too good😭

Want to hear his real voice? Go watch "Story of Kunning Palace" You will definitely LOVE his acting more. In that show, he plays a grey character.

For me, that is the show that got me to FINALLY look at him as an actor other than just another pretty face. His acting in that show is one of the best and he owned that character so much that you won't be able to picture anyone else playing the role. You are in for a ride. Happy watching!!

That was an amazing moment to watch. I wasn't expecting it either but was very satisfied to see it played out. She needed someone to tell her about herself.


Lol but the part where they were "acting" at the end and the mom went overboard and LR trying to comfort her and tell her she's doing well was so cute and endearing. I look forward to all of them working together as a family

I think it's because the FL is still hurt about how the ML mislead her to believe that he was in love with QZZ in their past life. She was very in love with him in the past life, until the whole QZZ situation which the ML never clarified then. Thats what's drove her towards SRQ. It was 20 years of hurt, loneliness, and bitterness.

So now that the ML has clarified things in this life and basically confess his feelings in a roundabout way, she's unsure about how to handle it. Remember, she's a very proud person who was continously hurt by those she love. She's a lonely soul. So she's scared and doesn't really trust the ML words yet (when it comes to loving her)

But I think given time, she will start believing him.

He was the one who killed her and PWX in the previous life. Right now PWX and LR are just suspecting, but all evidence is pointing to him. They discussed this in ep 2 or 3

Lol I would understand if he isn't still trying to get close to LR. It's just not right for him to think that he has leverage to be with her after what he did in the previous life. It's just too much of a ask. His fake "love sickness" is getting annoying

I sympathize with his dilemma. However, he needs to leave LR alone and go about his business.

I'm so glad the show is taking it's time developing the relationship between LR and PWX slowly. . Based on their past, it makes sense for the relationship not to be rushed. It's developing quite nicely.

The fight between LR and the Pei family was amazing to see. Esp when they were kneeling infront of the imperial study. The battle of wills was awesome.😂 The princess definitely won that round. I'm so glad our princess is the most bad azz princess willing to fight anyone and EVERYONE who dares to harm her man. Lol she really cut that man's hand off😭 All the slaps in thes two episodes were very satisfying 🤭

I have never been so annoyed by a second ML like I am with SRQ. He is the most annoying person ever. I want to punch him everytime he's on screen interrupting moments btw LR an PWX. He has the nerve to think he and the princess can just be together??? After what he did in the past life?? Asking her THAT question??? The unmitigated gall??? His delusional azz. Iol sorry, I'm just so angry at his audacity. He's as delusional as a SFL in a Xianxia 🙄

Finally, I'm glad someone else is seeing this for what it is! I thought I would go crazy with seeing all the hate the FL is getting on this page.

Most people are willfully not trying to understand her perspective because they have their own idea in their head of how a FL should act. And so, they judge this FL harshly because she doesn't fit their narrative. Which I think is so unfair.

Cdrama producers have done a disservice to their viewers by always casting the "perfect" FL who stays the damsel in distress and never acts bitter, even if the ML treats her like crap. So anything outside that norm, anything with the FL matching the ML energy and giving as good as she gets, most viewers can't handle it

Well that's the novel. This is the show. And in the show, PWX never clarified his relationship with QZZ in their past life. He let the FL believe that he was in love with QZZ.

How can you condemn a characters action in the show based on the novel when the show is going in a different direction?

I love their banter. It really does feel like a real married couple who has been married for a while, and know how to push the others button. The ML and FL are doing a fine job portraying their characters!
