RR was also instructed by Wuzhu to protect her brother when not there. In a way she is doing what asked for 🙂…
That's all good and fine. But I still stand by my analysis that it was tasteless for a scene like that to happen right after we just watched a scene where Wan Er was pouring out her heart and being so deeply emotional and hurt by her husband's betrayal.
In my opinion, it wasn't a good thing to have that Ruo Rou scene right after. It was tactless of the writers
When I looked at the comments on here at 3am this morning (US time), everything was positive. Though there was no rating yet, every one was talking about how good it is and how they are enjoying it.
But now a few hrs later at 11 am, I come back but the ratings don't add up with the positive comments? What's going on?? I have never seen a show debut this low. Usually it starts high and slowly goes down if it's bad. But only 5 episodes out and it's already this low??
Is it that bad? I am really excited to watch this so someone please give me an idea...
Episode 32 will forever be one of my favorite episode!!! Esp Wan Er scene when she was confronting FX about her brother's death. Her acting was so amazing, even I was scared about what she will do next. This type of acting is what I have been looking for from the FL since s1. But the script never made her "act" I'm glad we got to see her have a "moment" It was exciting and beautifully done!
Also, I'm a little disappointed that it seems no one was on Wan Er's side. I didn't like the scene where Ruo Rou come in right after with a knife and needle in her hand talking about she wanted to protect her brother incase Wan Er did something. Like, this is between husband and wife, stay out of it. And I get that she wants to protect her brother, BUT her brother is in the wrong, not her sister inlaw.
I really love Ruo Ruo, and I will continue to love her, but she was wrong in that scene and to me she was being an enabler. I get it though, she worships the ground her brother walks on and nothing he does is wrong. But damn girl, your brother really hurt his wife by lying by ommission (he himself knows that) So stay out of their marriage.
Lol other than that, she's my favorite girl! That fight scene between Wu Zhu and the other andriod was amazing. Especially when they were fighting in the water. Now, I'm going to slowly watch the remaining episodes
I absolutely agree with everything you said!!! That's why it pisses me off so bad when I see people on here putting…
I get that. But the way it became a running joke in the show pisses me off. Lol
When it was said once or twice it was okay, but it just became a whole thing in the show and it quickly became annoying. Like if yall are going to make him be with someone else, do it already and get it over with. But the constant joking and mentioning it quickly became annoying. Lol
I think Waner suits the ML very well and I enjoy their scenes together...The way he grew up without love (I know…
I absolutely agree with everything you said!!! That's why it pisses me off so bad when I see people on here putting the ML together with other females. None of the other females really suit him and the type of life he yearns for. Only Wan Er does. They gel together like peanut butter and jelly. They were made for eachother.
It also pisses me off when in the show they made other characters always pointing out that FX should cheat on Wan Er esp in s1 and it wouldn't be seen as a bad thing. That's the one thing I absolutely HATE about this show. I don't like how the writers disrespects their relationship.
Not as good as season 1 though. Sometimes I have to fast forwarded through entire episode or speed through it…
I agree and disagree with you about it not been as good as S1. I agree that this season started off slow and it semed like some things were unnecessary in the beginning. However, the story picked up and everything came together. I disagree with it not being good as s1 because they are not supposed to be the same or ranked the same. They are different stories of different times in the characters lives. Think of it this way, do humans stay the same all their lives? Our story changes all the time and we shouldn't compare our past selves to our present because it's not worth it. That's how I look at this story. S1 was a completely different story from s2. Even the shooting style of s2 changed, so we can't compare the 2 seasons.
Now I AGREE WITH YOU WHOLEHEARTEDLY that the female characters are VERY BADLY written. From s1 to s2, the female characters are badly written and are just there as props🫠
I finally caught up and finished ep 36, so it ended???!!! How come I feel that there should be more ep tomorrow😅.…
Exactly everything you said!!! I don't know why some people are comparing s1 and s2. They are not supposed to be the same. Season 1 was exciting because it was an "origin" story. There were always new characters to meet and new places to explore. Season 2 the characters are already established. it's all about relationships and finding their purpose in life. The best thing about Season 2 is how the different dynamics between each character's relationship with FX is being explored. We get to go more into the character's heads, especially with the relationship between CPP and the emperor. It's such a nuanced relationship. Lol A time-bomb waiting to explode. All in all, this season has been exceptional.
I have 6 more episodes to go. I'm taking my sweet time watching. I'm excited for what to come in season 3.
I have been watching this show slowly so as to not catch up, but couldn't help myself and caught up to ep 28 yesterday😩 Now I'm scared to finish it cause I don't want to wait 5yrs for season 3😩 lol.
But seriously though, I have been enjoying it so far. Though this season started out slow, I LOVE all the arcs. The spring exam arc was my favorite.
I really love the different relationship dynamics: the emperor and CPP, emperor and FX, emperor and FJ, FX and CPP, FX and his dad, FX and WZ, FX and Rourou. FX and his Laoshi. FX interactions with all these people is so different and amazing. Each of them adds something to his life!
I love how many characters in this show are fully developed and add to the plot somehow, even if a little. No one is just there for the sake of it.
I'm going to slowly watch the remaining episodes and savor it all!!
Why is everything so magical and so bland at the same time? This is one of those series where after every episode…
I think maybe it's because the story is just starting. We are learning who the characters are and background info on them. So the plot isn't really moving yet.
Personally, I think it's about to get interesting with her spirit bone gone and the old chief awaken. I'm excited to see how it all goes.
Maybe we just need to let the characters and the story settle
I am septic... falling in love with his mother by adoption who raised and took him in for 16 years... for me romance…
She is NOT his adoptive mother. She NEVER raised him like a son. They are NOT even master and student. The people of Tushan took him in as a child and helped him cultivate that's all. EVERYONE was involved in his cultivation.
All their interactions, NOT once had they interacted like mother and son. So, I don't see the problem.
If you haven't seen the first four episodes, please watch them and see the interactions for yourself. In episode 1, she even told him that whatever good memories he had of his parents he should just hold on to that because no one in Tushan would be his parent or treat him how his parents used to.
in ep5 when Tushan Honghong told Yuechi to take off his clothes, he saw his life flash before his eyes🤣🤣btw…
Welcome to Yang Mi!! She is an amazing actress. She's been in the industry since she was a child. You should watch Eternal Love (Ten Miles of Peach Bloosom) You will really love her then!!
it's just hard to ignore because we see ML going from looking like a 8 yr old to an adult while FL doesn't age…
The FL in this show DID NOT raise the ML as an adopted son.
If I may ask, where are you getting that from? None of their interactions so far says mother and son. They are NOT even master and student. ML was basically just seeking refuge and they let him stay in Tushan. And helped him cultivate. That's all. So personally, I see nothing wrong if they decide to get together. It's a xianxia afterall. Things like this happen in the genre.
This is my first time watching a mini drama and it didn't disappoint me.The plot is short and understanding. The…
You should also watch: -- The Deliberations Of Love (this is a MDL favorite. Spicy kisses) --Revenge of the reborn princess (this is really good) --Governor's Secrt love -- Seal of love -- Broken the heart (this one has a red flag ML, but I liked the story, though not the romance)
In my opinion, it wasn't a good thing to have that Ruo Rou scene right after. It was tactless of the writers
The one they had before was really beautiful and sexy.
Whomever is in charge of uploading posters, can you go back to the previous one?😂
