Lol it's probably because we are used to seeing those type of love scenes in Hollywood, but not in c-drama. So when c-drama does it, it's extra special!

First things first, ladies, if your man doesn't freeze an WHOLE ocean to find you, does he even love you?? Lol find you that Xing Zhi and Shen Li type of love.

I am really enjoying this drama. I wasn't expecting much from the cave scene, (cause censorship) BUT omg did they deliver. It was done just right and I felt so shy watching it. They were so cute.😭

On another note, I have never seen such useless and worthless divine realm in all of c-drama land. The divine realm in this show is home to the most useless powerful beings. lol

They are all so unserious in the divine realm. Lol I can't believe they got her holiness doing silly faces with them😂

Anyways, so many amazing characters in this show. Furong and his sister are just such comedic duo. Ep 24 is one of my favorite episode!!! Madam Jin is such an amusing character. The actress plays the role well. Every one in this show has great comedic timing. We only have 8 more episodes left. I'm excited to see how the rest of the episodes play out!!

Girl, me too. To me, he is the one and only Ye Hua I recognize. Lol nobody else can be Ye Hua. He just owned that role and made it his. He was just perfect in it!!

I do enjoy young and pretty boy actors, but only in certain roles. If it was tailored for them just right then it comes out right and it's enjoyable. For emaple, Xu Kai in Wonderland of love. That role was made for him. He was very believable as the war strategist and general of his army.

I just can't get into actors that take such roles like military generals, ancient gods, etc, and just stand there and rely on their pretty looks. Lol

Exactly. I used to see Zhang Ling He as that babyface actor and while I enjoyed his shows I couldn't get into him as an actor.

BUT after SOKP, I started seeing him in a new light. He showed that he could play roles other than the typical "pretty boy" lol

He was amazing in SOKP and he showed his acting range. And I loved him in it. I'm hoping the same for Yang Yang in his upcoming show: A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality. I'm looking forward to it!

LGX is the perfect cast for an ancient God. He has the look, charisma and wit to pull it off. And so far, he is doing an amazing job. This role especially needs someone that's manly and can match Shen Li. LGX fits it to the T

An ancient god should NOT be a skinny, young actor that looks like a child. Me personally, I don't like when the ML is described as a god of war, seasoned war general, ancient god, etc, but I see a young, babyface, actor in the role. It's just not believable.

Also, sometimes, some actors are just too "pretty" for some roles. Lol it's the reason why I still can't finish the eternal love movie. Yang Yang was just too pretty for the role and I just couldn't see him as the mighty god of war, Ye Hua, that rarely smiles. No matter how I looked at it, it just wasn't believable. I like Yang Yang as an actor btw. He was perfect in WRTW and nailed that role!

No, I only have 8. I even downloaded Tencent and paid for it because I thought it would have more episodes, but it does not.

I guess only WeTV has 10 episodes. Everywhere else os 8😔

If she had focused her comments about the show and not Yang Mi's appearance, then I wouldn't have said anything. Because though I love this show, I know it has its flaws.

At first I didn't hate or like him, he was just there. I even felt bad in ep 7 when he was fighting the chimei and got injured. Though I didn't really cared for his character, I didn't wanted him to die.

Lol episode 22 finished too fast for my liking. I wanted/needed more. The story is just too good right now! The teaser for ep 23 and 24 are scary.... Lol our poor Xing Zhi... That man is about to go through some things...

A couple of things: I'm really liking how the relationship between Shen Li and Xing Zhi is playing out. They have an amazing balance and very mature relationship. This is one of the reason I'm so glad they didn't get a young actor to play the ancient God. It wouldn't have been believable. The ML role needed someone older to give the performance justice and make it believable. LGX is doing an amazing job with that!!

I wonder who the young master is. I see a lot of yall have made a guess. Maybe it's that person, but I'm excited to see who it is.

Production wise, this is one of the best produced show I've seen recently. You can tell a lot of thought went into it. The cinematography (especially on fight scenes) is one of the best. The costumes are amazing. I always look forward to what Shen Li will wear!! The OST is amazing and cool. I look forward to the next episodes!!!
