I'm actually not liking the way the relationship between A Gou and Bai Cai is being played out right now. They used to be two people who communicated, made plans together, and fought together. That's why their relationship in the mine was so amazing to watch. Though it wasn't romantic, they still had a vibe and nobody could come between them.

I feel like the special relationship they had is gone. It's no longer fun to watch them on screen because A Gou is pushing her to the side, hiding things from her, and treating her like a child, instead of just being an adult and communicating.

Lol I read some comments that said she would turn bad? If so, then I 1000 percent support that. Cause who wouldn't go bad when you are being sidelinded by the one person in the world who is supposed to love and support you back unconditionally?

Girl, go bad! Cause A Gou is an ungrateful brat who's throwing away old things for new shiny things.

Lol I'm sorry, A Gou is PISSING me off right now. Maybe later I would like him again.

Lol please give it a chance . The special effects gets better after episode 2.

But also, I felt the same way (even complained on here) but still gave it a chance and I'm glad I did!! 10 episodes in, and the story is really amazing so far.

Also, the cgi/special effects got better for me once I switched platforms. It sucks watching it on IQiyi

I AGREE with this statement so much. I think he has been too quiet about things happening to him behind the scenes. Even though fans can see some things and speculate, there was not much to be done since Jeremy wasn't complaining.

But now that he's said something, hopefully fans can come together and demand answers from his agency.

He is one actor I will be VERY SAD to see leave the industry. He has too much acting talent and screen presence for his agency to treat him like this.

Try switching platforms. The CGI becsme more better for me when I switched form IQiyi to Kisskh.

I think this drama doesn't show well on all platforms

This is so sad to see. Jeremy Tsui is actually one of the BEST Chinese actors out there. But for whatever reason, his agency always gave him bad scripts, and stuck him with trainee actors.

I really hope something good works out for him. I don't want to see his talent wasted😔

Thanks for pointing that out. IQiyi has always been blurry for me, one of the reasons I HATE watching shows on it. The only show that wasn't so bad was Story of Kunning Palace.

Watching "love you seven times" on that platform was such a torture for me. Everything was just so blurry and covered in filter. Lol I think it's one of the reasons I still have not finished that show.

If I may ask, why do you think that?

Truth be told, I had no expectations coming into this show. I just wanted to watch something to pass the time while I wait for my favorite shows to air. BUT OMG I have fallen in love with this show. It's so well told!!

I really love how the writers took their time developing the story and characters. I'm glad that they actually showed A Gou/Wu Geng actually being a slave in the mine, not just for a few months, but four years. We see how he changed from that annoying prince to this amazing leader that we can all root for. Good character!!

I really love Bai Cai. She's so adorable. Her crying scenes are always so heartfelt. I really like how the writers are taking their time revealing her identity slowly. It's fun to guess what powers she might have next!!

Lol so far, I'm looking forward to the death of that Bai State prince. Cause omg does he annoy me... Episode 8 was such a cliffhanger. I can't wait to see how it all plays out.

Lol okay yall I eat my words about the CGI being bad. I think maybe it was because of the platform I was initially watching it on (IQIYI). But once I switched to Kisskh, the cinematography became so beautiful. Not blurry and very clear. The CGI is not bad either. I think it was just IQiyi.

🙄 lol that excuse sounds so superficial. If he really means it, he should commit to the bit and stop doing romantic shows that requires him to kiss. Instead of going through all tbe trouble of using a kiss double. The whole thing seems a bit hypocritical 🙄

I think he's an amazing actor (the shows I've seen him in) but I also see why people are calling him out. Hope he branch out and start doing dramas that don't require him to go against his wife's wish.

I just started watching it, (ep 1) and I might have to agree with you. The costumes, designs, and cgi are giving me a 80s bad movie vibe... I don't find it horrible yet.

I don't know about the story yet, so I'm going to keep watching to see how it plays out. I really hope I don't have to drop this!!!
