On another note: One thing I really like about Mei Lin's character is that, though she's an assassin, and tough when she needs to, she's also a sweet and easy soul on the regular. She's so agreeable and sweet. She switches when she needs to, and it's seamlessly.
I really like how WJY is portraying Mei Lin. She has the character's personality down pat and it's lovely to watch her.

I think it's because though they were prepared for a little battle, they weren't fully prepared for how CP would react. I don't think they were anticipating it would go this way. Remember, this was a simple plan to get the witness out of the mines. the best kind of plans don't always work out.
CP had plans upon plans to take them out. He had countless of people ready to do his bidding.
Also, after the fight in ep 14, they had to travel light. They were expecting to be able to drink and eat from the rivier and CP poisoned the water. MRJ was already weak from the poison so Mei Lin couldn't leave him alone to find food incase CP men found him and killed him. That's why she had to stay with him always... that's why she tied a rope around them both to connect them...plus the heavy snow didn't help. They really had no chance😭
I told myself that I wasn't going to watch ep 15 cause I wanted to wait until tomorrow to stack the episodes... But then I decided to watch the beginning only... or so I told myself...45 minutes later I have watched the whole thing 🤭
It was just to good to stop. Them in the snow was too emotional. I'm glad they came out of it. CP is really vicious and curel😭
It seems the Xiyan prince is about to enter his bad guy era... now everyone can stop guessing whether he's bad or good🤭
On another note, one thing I really love about this show is how the actors are not afraid to look a mess in a scene that calls for it. You can really tell that yes, they are in a wilderness suffering. I like that production didn't try to make them "beautiful" It made for a great scene.

Yep. Their chemistry is slowly built. It was a wise decision by the director to do it slowly. So even if people have reservations about their coupling, they can't deny the chemistry 😂
I don't mind them really, (the age gap doesn't bother me). I just don't find their story that interesting, so I skip every now and then to get to the main plot. But I have enjoyed the scenes of them I haven't skipped.

I watched Love Me Love My Voice when it was on air, but dropped it (at around ep 15) because it didn't really have a plot. It wasn't what I was looking for at the time😭 But now that I'm in the mood for such shows, I think I will go back to it!!
