Oh 100%! I mean how many people can pinpoint to a single moment they fell in love with someone? Naturally it’s a progression. And you’re totally right, she’s been primarily focused on survival and investigation. Considering her upbringing posing as a prince, she’s also not used to experiencing romantic affection. The future is also uncertain, whether she plans to return to her kingdom and continue the ruse as crown prince. Establishing a romantic relationship will have complications down the line.

I think MY started to fall in love with him sometime after finding out he didn’t poison her and then hearing his thoughts of her male alter ego, MX. They’re both warriors who have a silent awe and respect for each other’s capabilities. Could even be when he started noticing her, like with the scallion pancakes. It hasn't been the most clear aspect of the drama so far imo, and harder to pinpoint in a single ep as she hasn’t acknowledged it at all. His sincerity towards her seems to be whats setting it in motion. Her choices have slowly been more in favour of benefiting him/working alongside him. Especially the latest ep 17, since she had a chance to take what might be the golden millet while JBZ was in a weakened state, but was more intent on saving him at the expense of shortening her chance of survival.

I’m not convinced she saw what he was seeing. But his spirit well had hundreds of memorial altars, his masters being the primary one. When the souls were dying due to the nether tree, more memorials appeared. MY and JBZ souls are now connected, he even said something along the lines of sharing pain together. Therefore when he was overwhelmed with grief, she also experienced it. It may even be heightened since she was present in his spirit well. So in that moment she could feel people JBZ cared about were dying. They were from the same prison he had escaped from, and he had hoped to set them free because like him they were innocents. The fairy was one such prisoner he thought he had successfully saved from a bad fate. But in the process of uncovering corruption and seeking revenge, it set worse things in motion.

Latest ep.13 omggg😍💕💕💕 yes yes yes I absolutely loved JBZ and MYs interactions. The first moment he returns home, crashing in with power. Then approaching her and gently moving her knife away only to tap her hand in comfort ahhhh was so bittersweet 😭😭😭 Then at the marriage stone. Mans is desperate for her sincerity, despite her unknown identity. And the kiss! BTS was more intense but rewatching that moment, what they included was enough considering how the characters have been portrayed so far. I hope the drama gives us more angst!

You know when you’ve fallen for an airing drama when you reach the end of the last available episode and everything else feels empty afterwards 🤭💗💕 The kind of longing that leads you to seek out more related content just to pass the time. 🤌🏻✨ LITC sparks it once again.

I went into this drama fully knowing it would be tragic, but what I didn’t expect was how often I’d cry 😭🤧 injustice and bittersweetness did a number on me 🥺 the main characters are also so sweet with each other in such an unconditional and heart-wrenching way. I only wish there had been a deeper exploration of the letters/fantasy aspect and extended character developments in the 2026 timeline. Still one ep left hopefully the ending is satisfactory.💕✨

You’re not marrying the emperor, you’re marrying the emperors brother. Know nothing of his home life or the court affairs in that foreign land. We don’t know yet if they will even tolerate you. But you’re happy to kick dirt on your supportive family who want nothing more than your health and happiness. Wow SML is ruthless 😭 completely ignored the princess’s hand and gave an absolute cold shoulder 🥶 i knew she was going to have a rude awakening but i couldnt help but laugh at the parallel between them and the main couple. As for SML, i dont understand his intentions atm. Is he trying to keep appearances and save his ppl by going through with the marriage alliance? Does he truly care about saving the FML or just possessing her?

End of ep.6 had me giggling 🤣🫢 she really just called him a moon-face ahaha while kneading his cheeks like mochi.
