It’ll be hard to go up by that much since a lot of people already rated it, but even at 7.4 it’s an excellent score for Douban - it’s one of the highest for dramas in a similar category. For example, The Long Ballad, which I loved and thought was great, only got a 5.9

ADOS might have had beautiful cinematography but I think the story of LLTG is so much better so far. I loved ADOS for the first half but thought the second half was a complete mess with horrible pacing and unnecessary misunderstandings. I basically ff-ed most of the last 20 eps to get through them.

I actually think it’s quite enjoyable as a shipper of their romance. I like the slow burn and buildup and it’ll make their sweet moments even more rewarding later. I think ultimately the story IS a romance a with side elements because we’ll see how they fall very deeply in love and go through trials and tribulations together. The people who aren’t enjoying it seem to be looking for instant gratification over actual substance.

I was wondering how they were able to pull that off for ADOS despite the new restrictions

Maybe they'll pull an ADOS and release the last few episodes a week early for a premium (which would be much more worth it than it was for ADOS).

Seriously. Also blaming actors/actresses for the actions of their fans is so silly and honestly comes off as unhinged.

I know he improves but he's so annoying that I don't think I will feel bad for him at all lol.
