The attention is mostly on them. Literally the main event of the show. LMFAO.
I loved that! The fact that they had two songs performed, too. I think one of my favorite random moment is when WS won Best OST and Kim Soohyun was looking around confused, wondering who won since they only mentioned Eclipse and Ryu Sunjae. Only to find out the guy next to him was the singer himself. HAHAHA. I really love that most of the time, WooHye are in their own little bubble and that the distance kept decreasing between them in that couch.
AAA is such a treat! It's really just a show to appreciate Solseon. Bagged so many awards and had their OSTs sang, too. They will always be loved by the GP and media entertainment.
Merry Christmas to LovRun and to Subeoms! I hope you guys are enjoying the Blu-ray teasers on Twitter. I was giggling at everything that J-Subeom shared last night. They really look like newlyweds in those pictures.
The Fireworks scene on Episode 30 is so heartwarming and somber at the same time. You can feel that a few of them are almost ready to say goodbye and save someone else just in case things go astray in facing the Resentful Woman.
I really like Mr. Wen and based from his backstory and how he regrets what happened to the Mu family, he's ready to risk it all for the siblings. His expression alone is enough to make me sad because you know he's weighing his options on how to do it without so much casualty.
Same thing with Ziqi. He thinks that Yao's family's death was partially his doing so giving up everything he has (including his life) should be right in his head. Add to the fact that he blames his existence to his mom's death, too.
And I feel bad for Miaomiao because she doesn't realize that what she was trying to do— saving everyone else— has been lost to her due to the power she got. Everything is basically going to sh*t and it's worrying me.
The funny thing is that Liuniang was already annoyed with ZiQi even before he was born. She kept persuading Murong…
I was literally laughing at her during that scene when I should be taking it serious. She sounded like she's Murong's husband. If anything, Ziqi probably inherited being a yandere from her.
Why do I keep thinking that Murong and Liuniang as some kind of doomed yuri plotline? 😭 Like, Luiniang, my girl, you're obsessed. This isn't what Murong would want to happen. She saved her kid for a reason. Let. Her. Go. Let. Him. Go.
Before Miaomiao had the Apocal power, she was the one taking the reins of the plot. She wanted it to become longer, moving in a glacial space, because she wanted to stay longer with the group. That's why not much is happening to the story lore-wise.
The consequence of getting that power allowed the system to get back on track without her intrusion That's why the second she had her memories wiped of the real world, the drama became novel-focused. Things are starting to fall back into pieces and Miaomiao can't do anything with it anymore.
I think her taking her sweet time became a huge problem, too, because had she not taken the power, the Resentful Woman would be victorious in the end.
Maybe that actually explained the exposition and the choppy storyline. We're no longer following Miaomiao's point of view, but the novel itself.
I really think that the reason Miaomiao was sucked into the game is because Ziqi was unable to fulfill his prophecy to defeat the Resentful Woman, and lost his memory of the real world on the way, too.
No one was able to inherit the Apocal Power nor did he (or anyone) get to wield the Crescent to become the Heavenly Demon Catcher. It was not Mu Yao that should defeat her, because she was easily seduced by the demon in the OG novel. Hence, the very tragic ending.
I think Fu Zhou's job was to complete that prophecy to give the story a happy ending. So, they (the universe or system) had to bring Miaomiao (Mu Qingshi's reincarnation) back to do that.
(A theory: It could also mean that Fu Zhou could be Ziqi's reincarnation so there's a high chance that he'd retain his memories when they go back to the real world.)
As expected, I knew the words of the Dowager was about Ziqi. Back when they first met her at the Capital, there was a moment where she asked Miaomiao and Fuyi to leave since her conversation had to be a secret and can only be shared with the Mu family. She told someone that this person resembles someone she knows. I'm guessing here that she was referring to Ziqi, and since she knew of his existence, she saw her brother in him quickly, but couldn't say it out loud.
Now, why would Marquis know? I suppose he talked to the Dowager about this since they were part of the plan to unfurl her sins. She had to tell him that his dad fell in love with a demon, which was why she had to level the Qilin mountain to get rid of them. Mu Yao's dad, being an accomplice to it, took Sheng in once they caught him after “assassinating” their dad. They already talked about the witch who gave that bracelet to her father and Miaomiao already figured out that Ziqi's mom was from Qilin. I had a feeling that, like being a demon, Ziqi refuses to acknowledge his identity. He most likely put two and two together since he's canonically a perceptive person. I do hope they handled this better.
According to the palace people, the late Marquis Zhao was bewitched by the Resentful Woman's bracelet and fell…
Replying here since you are truly onto something. Mu Yao's father is the reason why there was a massacre at that hall. He kept the Consort quiet and probably put that curse on Min for extra safety.
In the middle of episode 23 and things are finally falling into pieces. Each plot seems to be connected to the catastrophe and how Ziqi and Miaomiao are part of it. I'm guessing Fuyi's master is also sucked into the book. 🤔 I called it on Yao's dad having ulterior motives, too. He had that certain vibe the first time I saw him look at Sheng when they adopted him.
Another big achievement for LovRun!
