This movie supposedly completed filming on July 13, 2024. Does Chung Er have enough pieces to put together for a coherent movie? I’ve just about given up hope on this ever being released. 😕

It typically takes 6 to 12 months for post production and NRTA review for cdramas. iQIYI lists this drama as coming soon even though filming was just completed in November 2025.

How does iQIYI define the word “soon”?

Thank you for giving your insights about this drama. Also it was helpful to know about the first 3 episodes getting off to a wobbly start. I’ve only seen the FL in Lovely Runner and thought she was cute and that she is pretty good at acting. It’s a shame that she has haters here.

Is this drama less frustrating to watch than Positively Yours? Is there an annoying 2ML? Does this drama have overused tropes that should have been done away with long ago?

I’m watching PY right now but it’s become increasingly irritating to watch because the middle aged adults in the drama are acting like middle schoolers. Misunderstandings could be cleared up in 2 minutes if the characters would just talk to each other.

Both PY and No Tail to Tell currently have the same MDL rating. In your opinion why does this drama have a low rating?

William Chan was always the ML. They didn’t use ai to swap in his face. He filmed the entire drama.

Xu Kaicheng’s original role in this drama was a supporting character, not the ML. You appear to be a Xu Kaicheng fan and are disappointed that he was removed from the drama, but he was never one of the leading characters in this. Because of his scandal they used ai to swap Xu Kaicheng out of his role as one of the firefighters in the fire brigade. AI was used to replace his face with actor Wang Zirui’s face.

Actor Wang Don was also removed by ai from his role as the TV station news team leader. Actor Dai Xiangyu’s face was swapped in by ai.

I’m watching this drama in 2026 and the ai face swapping in this drama isn’t all that noticeable unless you’re specifically looking for it.

If you look closely in episode 1 where the baby threw up chocolate it was AI generated. Thankfully they didn’t make the real baby puke just so they could film it for “comedy” purposes.

The comments section for this drama is such a hot mess right now that I hate to think about what it will be like if some “bad stuff” happens to the main couple and it takes “some ugly episodes to work it out.”

Of course you are entitled to post your opinion but that doesn’t mean that it’s accurate or that it’s how the majority of people watching this drama perceive the FL. It’s certainly not what the screenwriter and actors are trying to portray in this comedy romance drama.

Opinions about this drama are extremely divided. Some people enjoy it and some people hate it. This is a drama that you will have to start watching yourself to see if you like it.

MDL should remove the ability to post reviews for any drama where the “reviewer” has watched less than one third of the drama. If they’ve watched only an episode or two they can’t write knowledgeable reviews based on factual information about the drama.

The 1 star reviews for this drama are either upset that Positively Yours is not a direct adaptation of the webtoon or they’re debating the social subject of pro life vs pro choice. They’re not actually reviewing the drama. The early 10 star reviews are written to counterbalance the 1 star reviews.

Since the premise of Positively Yours appears to be controversial it’s best to watch a few episodes of this drama for yourself. You can’t rely on “reviews” or comments, you have to sample the drama and make up your own mind.

Also, a review should mention details about how the acting and casting is, how well the intended story was told (was the story rushed, was the plot confusing, etc) and perhaps mention the rewatch value. Plus you can any other details about the drama that you feel is helpful to potential viewers.

You can leave an early review but you need to list exactly how many episodes you’ve watched. It helps people understand what you’re basing your opinion on.

How did the director get hired for this drama? He was a co-director for When the Stars Gossip and prior to that he last directed dramas in 2007 and 2002. His work history explains a lot about why this drama is the way it is.

I misunderstood exactly what you meant. To me a drama’s visuals include aesthetic elements such as lighting, camera angles, costumes, makeup, and set design.

For example, other people have mentioned the FL is nice looking in other dramas but in this one they’re making her look plain and drab. With the proper cinematography, makeup and styling almost everything about this drama would be better.

They’re definitely making her look bland but maybe that’s so she can have a glow up later on.
